I'd rather have some Jiffy Pop and visualize Mardy and Renaldo Balkman in the best 1-2 defensive backcourt shift this side of...

disagree MEarl. fans would've been on board with a change in philosiphy early in Mardy's case. reason being:

the defensive effort there from day 1.

patience in his offense catching up would've been granted due to his hustle, just like with Balkman.

edit: I'm no vulture.

dig up the summer threads following the draft. was an advocate of going with Mardy and Steph from jump.

Couldn't have said it better myself misterearl. Thats what i see when i watch this game. I don't see the score, i imagine that its November 2008 and the Knicks roll out a starting lineup of;

C = CURRY 6'11
PF = LEE 6'9
SF = BALKMAN 6'9
SG = CRAWFORD 6'5
PG = COLLINS 6'6

Pretty big lineup huh......

mardy is playing very solid. could be a quality backup in this league.
