As for the FGA/ast ratio, of course RIGHT NOW that's gonna look bad, but I believe that he's going to eventually improve that stat. It's not just about this season. Curry is going to be here and he's going to have an opportunity to develop his game in this system. The more he get's to play this way, I believe the better he's going to get.

Based on what exactly? He's been in the league for 6 full years now and doesn't know how to pass out of the post. His Bulls teams had the kind of shooters that the Knicks need and he still never learned how to pass out to them. That's not just the Knicks system, that's something that every team works on.

It's amazing how many basic things Curry is going to learn in year 7, in addition to finding a desire to do anything besides scoring.

Does anything you just said PROVE that he's NOT going to be able to improve?

Nix, you gotta see that it works both ways, dont you? I mean nothing you've said proves that Curry IS going to improve.

Actually I think that Curry has shown some improvement in his game. You all can choose to discount it cuz it's not a huge improvement but he's gotten better in many areas. His shotblocking has gotten worse, but in many ways he's showing some improvement. He's now the primary option for his team and that's something he's shown he can do on a nightly basis. He's also been able to play 35 mpg. Look if you want to ignore the positives that's fine, but don't act like he's been a bum.

If his projected numbers are 1.5 assists to go along with 6 turnovers, there isn't that much to discount to begin with.
Sh-t in the popcorn to go with sh-t on the court. Its a theme show like Medieval times.

No one said they would for a certain stay. People were suggesting they could potentially do what the Florida kids did.

Why should we expect that his TO's would increase that much? If anything if he has more space due to this team having more Perimeter shooting and his improved ability to pass, then why should he have more TO'S. His recent increase in TO's hasn't been due to his passing, but his forcing his offense against the double and triple teams. He's been called for pushing off and holding his man a lot lately. Also let's hope he can get his asts up to about 2.0 a game next year. That improvement is also relient on his teammates as well. They have to actually shoot the ball when he passes it out or score on cuts to the basket.

MS could you find comparisons to Durant's one year at Texas to Tim Thomas one year at Villanova. They have very similar skills though I think Durant has more skill.

Here you go dude, its not even close, they have similar builds at the college level but Durant is the greatest college player in the past 20 years. The kid can dominate and take over a game and does take over the game which TT never did. I think your looking at a more athletic Dirk in a few years without question.

TT at Nova 16.9pts 6.0rbs 2.1 ass 1blks 1.8stls 45%fg 33.63fg

KD at Texas 25.8pts 11.1rb 1.3 ass 1.9blks 1.9tls 47%fg 40%3fg

TT doesn't have the heart or desire to get 11 rb a game at any level of play

Thanks because I remember how everyone was going nuts about TT when he declared for the draft calling him an elite player and legit #2 after Duncan. I just couldn't remember his stat lines. You're right Durant dominated NCAA. I wish he could have went farther in the tournament. He sounds like a good kid (heard him on a radio interview) and is very family orientated.
