Mike Breen being negative about a 30 win team??? How could anyone do something so silly. And also, for the record, as much of a homer Gus Johnson sounds like on TV, he's really a lot different and more critical on the radio. He actually sounds like a man who knows stuff about bball.

He does that chit with Clyde also. They'll both be talking about some player I think it was Roy this time, when there's the comparison between a player and Clyde. Maybe the reason Breen sounds good on ESPN and negative on the Knicks is that he's usually calling a marquee matchup on ESPN and is calling a game featuring at least one crap team when he's calling the Knicks. It's easy to sound negative when you see the same team and same players constantly making the same mistakes not just game after game, but year after year.

Breen never seemed negative when the Knicks were good...b/c the Knicks were good!

BTW, the reason why its annoying that Gus calls every play like its the last time that would ever happen is b/c its not the last time! Dude needs to tone it down...he's like a little kid. Somethings just aren't that exciting.

you guys sound like you all work for dolon, you want him to put a postive spin on foolish TOs, a team that isn't coming out to play hard from the jump, a team that can't seem to sustain anykind of momentum, a team that eratic as all hell at the ft strip.

I don't know if any of you have league pass, but the announcing, specifically Golden State, is absolutely HIDEOUS.

To be honest, Breen tells it like it is. Just cuz you dont like to hear it, doesn't mean it aint true. I know someone who used to turn off the sound to the tv (when Marv was on) and flip on the radio to listen to Walt call the game.

i prefer the closed captioning. and i set the font size to 28. that way, it covers up the entire screen so i don't watch the horror show on the court.

personally, i don't hate breen because he's a hater. i hate him because he's an insufferable whiney little bastard who tells ridiculously boring stories, often with himself as the centerpiece, and keeps telling them even when the court action has resumed. plus he'll tell some stupid ass joke and then repeat it till its thoroughly beaten into the ground.
