it's pretty amusing to see how fans are totally on this "francis blows" kick. his behavior is not one of a "team" player but when has he ever been part of this team? isiah and dolan, during their touching oprah special last summer, basically said francis and rose were here b/c of lb. and then they fired lb. so yeah, francis definitely felt like he belonged. the nerve of that guy to not want to be a part of things here.

i wonder how marbury would've reacted if lb was the one who remained and he said "hey, i didn't bring him here." shoot, look at how marbury acted last year during the season. total disgrace.

Never forget before the season even got under way Marbury made the comments that outcast Francis.

"LB brought Francis here to usurp my position. It didn't work like I think he planned. I remained mentally strong and realized I'm a winner in Life".

Francis outcast himself. He's a lousy team player and from all statistical evidence he makes us worse.

Also DJsunyc, it's highly unfair to pick the last 5 games Steph has played and use that against him, when clearly he's been playing longer and harder than anyone else, including Mr. Francis.

When Francis quit on us to lick his wounds, Steph stuck it out and played thru the pain. Francis was ready to just bolt, until Jamal went down and there were minutes to be had. Then all of a sudden he was healthy enough to play. All of a sudden we see him dunking the ball and trying to dunk put backs on several occasions. That sure is a miraculous turnaround for a guy ready to call it a season. We were all ready to give him a chance, but he flat STINKS! He got lucky and hit a game winning shot, but outside of that he plays a lousy brand of BB. Unfortunately, we actually need him right now, cuz there's no one else. We can't rely on Nate or Collins, so we have to deal with Francis mistakes and hope he has a good scoring game. But the 1st chance we get, I want him gone.

So is Marbury. It doesn't matter that Steve is worst than him. Marbury has been here longer and is a horrible point gaurd in terms of making his teammates better. Also to my knowledge no one on the Knicks squad has wanted to beat Steve's Azzz unlike WATERMELON HEAD Marbury. Back to what I said earlier Marbury trashed Francis indirectly before the season even got underway. That's a wonderful way of showing how good of a teammate he is.

i think Francis is a good player, but the problem is he's not playing w/in the flow of this offense... he's freelancing way too much, & his teammates don't know what he's going to do w/the ball when he's got it in his hands, so they're left unaware when he drives & then leaves his feet w/nowhere to go, & then get stuck trying to launch up a shot w/no time left on the shotclock & not in rhythm to make the shot when he passes it off to them... we've seen Francis make plays that have helped this team win also... the problem is he doesn't have a defined role w/Marbury on this team... 1 of them have to go, & since Isiah's cast his lot w/Marbury for better or for worse, & Marbury is finally playing some semblance of D this year, Francis obviously needs to go... hopefully he can play well enough to garner some interest in the offseason in a trade.

the trade for francis is what turned me 100% against isiah. it was obvious at that point that zeke was not going to help this franchise because he couldn't get out of his own way.

anything bad that is said about francis should not be the slightest bit of a surprise to anyone who's followed the nba for a few years.

and btw the smartest thing the knicks did last year was show brown the door. the dumbest thing they did was to not do the same with thomas and marbury.

Yup, all 3 needed to get on the same page, and they couldn't. Not sure how Dolan loves Thomas so much.

The only surprise for me is that it took this long for this to occur? I remember asking during the offseason, what happens IF we suffer injuries, a losing streak and guys start complaining about their roles. What would that do for our team? I was called a Net fan for asking the question. Now one of the same people that called me a Net fan and a pessimist is talking about what a problem the guy is. The reality is our opinions of Francis are all the same, just that some of us could see this coming before Francis was ever acquired.

No matter how much LB wanted the guy, why would anyone bring this guy aboard? Yet another of a long line of pointless time wasting trades and signings by our GM. But criticize him and you are a Net fan.

I officially say I told you so.

I hate Francis. That's the worst part of the Jamal injury. If the Jamal injury hadn't happened, Francis would be gone by now.

To add to this what is the reason not to play francis heavy minutes? Francis is a former all-star and is in the prime years of his life.

I believe francis was jealous of Crawford and marbs. All you hear out of francis mouth is playing time. Even when the knicks win!

He was never hurt at anytime during this season. I will give him aches and pain but nothing crippling.

ISIAH SHOULD WAIVE FRANCIS!!!

All this complaining about minutes? Its just retarded cuz who else is there to play heavy minutes but francis? Is francis now jealous of Nate?

Isiah should have signed someone right after craw went down the waived francis!

Francis has never played within the flow of the offense, when he was in houston he would spend close to 15 on the shot clock dribbling and then he would illegally carry the ball and fly by people and jump over him.

He doesn't know how to play the game, he is a great athlete and very good rebounder, but his defense leaves a lot to be desired like every guard isiah has ever brought in, and he holds the ball and rarley gets it to the player in the right place......

My favorite is when we dump it into Curry. Curry finally makes a good decision and whips it back to Marbs. Marbs whips it to Balkman who whips it to Francis, who catches it, dribbles for 10 seconds and then whips it to Nate who was open 10 seconds ago but is now triple covered. Then when the team reacts he goes "don't you know who I am? I'm Franchise."

The above is a dramatization of course

There is no question this guy is healthy enough to compete.

Question is can he be moved without a buyout?

To tone down the hate, lol. Let's just say the knicks make it to the playoffs and francis settles down and is a big part in a playoff run do the knicks,....

Ha! I think isiah needs to do the best he can In finding francis a new home in the off season. Cleveland would be nice.

All signs point to a buyout cuz isiah is bound to attatch a new thorn in our sides in the malik rose big snacks mold.

What Marbury said was pretty despicable, considering it was in front of the media, however, you can look as high as the owner, considering he and Thomas did the same exact thing in front of Al Trautwig in the Larry Brown interview.

The accountability and leadership displayed in this organization resembles those in a group of 3 year olds. I, myself, am starting to side with Bonn and am wondering if their is any hope at all, with Dolan in the c-pit.
