I'm still waiting for someone to tell me that he's better than Kelinna Azubuike who was in the NBDL about 3mos ago.
Nobody is going tell you that Foo!!!!!!!!!! Because Kelinna Azubuike plays in NELLY BALL!!!!! IF you have no idea what Nelly Ball.......... well that would be the only way anyone would want to compare stats between a player in that system and to a player not in that system.

Ok! So no current Warrior is better than any Knick because they play for Nelly? No need to try and trade Nate for Monta Ellis then because obviously that guy has inflated stats in his system.

HOw did the question go from Kelinna Azubuike V Nate to any Warrior V any Knick?????
I feel Nate is boderline NBDL how he goes about playing the game. That was refuted by someone. Then I proceeded to look up a Azubuike's stats which were similar to Nate's, who played in the NBDL 3mos ago and shockingly enough their stats are eerily similar.

the funny thing is that that game against us was one of ellis best games, and nelly has been coming down on him about his defense and shot selction( go figure) so nate for him straight up is a not a good deal.

Nate did not do well in the slam dunk contest. Maybe he is getting ready for next year's 3 point contest. On a side note, this is the same Nate that was goaltending Frye's foul shots when he was trying to work on his jumpshot.

Nate finished 2nd at the Dunk contest man. He should try and win the three-pt and skills comps next. Someone needs to be an NBA father-figure to this kid. Has anyone taken him under their wing?
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

He hasn't even shown flashes of maturity, at time's he plays under control, but for the most part he's not, and that in it's self is a problem. He's at least 5 years away from being a real guard in this league. He belongs on a Nelly team..All offense.
you could say the same about JC.
I think their are similarities in the two but I think their are a couple things about Craw that keep people from coming down on him. He has shown that he is very coachable. He's never started a brawl. He's never tossed a ball off the backboard for a circus dunk in a 2 pt game..............
He may be coachable at times, but also reverts back to bad habits. Nate, right now, is a much more efficient SG.

I wish Nate wouldn't enter the game and immediately shoot a 3 pointer. pass the ball, rebound, go to the basket, get a feel for the offense for a few possessions and in the meanwhile play some D. don't dilly-dally obviously, if they give you something in rhythm then take it. but some times he comes out of the gates jacking up contested 3's and doesn't look to establish rhythm by getting something easy. he'll end up scoring big but off of many shot attempts, which has earned him a reputation as a volume shooter just like craw. sometimes he makes the game so much harder for himself than it has to be, and it's disappointing because you can see how great he can be on defense; i mean you look at his size, obviously the speed and quickness (speed being open court speed, quickness being how he changes speed when he hits the gas; he has both), but for his size he has STRENGTH. the guy is so strong pound-for-pound, you just gotta wonder how amazing he could be defensively if he would just discipline himself and work. i mean how many guys in the league can see this little demon running up on their blind spot for the steal if he works on it?

I think Nate can play in the league. He was having a good year prior to the brawl. Since hes come back hes struggled mightily and just recently is really picking his game up. He can be a lift offensively. He needs to mature, but I wouldnt give up on him yet
Im not comparing him to Rod Strickland, who went on to have an excellent NBA career, and Nate will never be as good as Rod. But the Knicks gave up on Rod too soon due to the very same reasons people have against Nate. Little defense, always going for highlight reel stuff, perceived maturity issues. They'll hopefully be a time that he matures. Give him a little more time. I think Nate can play, and will produce in the league as a solid bench player one day. Hopefully it doesnt take a change of uniform to wake him up

how long do you have to wait for people to mature? half court shots, gimme a break.
this guy played for how long a univ. of wash.? 3 years? and now its his 2nd year in the Association and we're waiting for him to not be an assclown.
enough is enough, i've said it once and i'll say it again, i'd love to package him in a deal with the draft pick for either multiple draft picks or young players or something. he is one guy i'd love to move, but i doubt just him alone would get anything

Jamal's coachable in the sense that he doesn't complain or cause media controversies. If coachable means actually learning from coaches and improving your decision making, then it's less clear.

Naye Nate (AKA: The Special one) is a role player.
He is a fireball player able to do incredible things in short spurts. This is a kid who will flame out by age 30 unless he developes a point guards game and does some intangables. To rely on his freak athletic ability at his height is not a good long term prospect.
This, his maturation will play a big role in his career.
20 minutes he can really contribute big.

I have a lot of problems with Jamal's game, but I have no problems with the way he carries himself and represents the team.
With Nate, I can't even form a strong opinion about his game (though I definitely don't love it) because I cannot get past the way he carries himself and represents us. He is a total clown, is totally unprofessional, and I do not want him on my team.

Everyone can't handle the limelight of MSG and the media hype that goes with it.
Say he breaks into the league in seattle...does he still act this way with nate mcmillian as coach?
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

See I disagree. I don't think Isiah is telling him to control the shots he takes. I think his job is to shoot whenever he gets it. He is being coachable. Neither of us know this for sure, but I'm going based on what I saw last year under Larry as opposed to what I see this year. LB was controlling and Jamals shot selection improved. Isiah is allowing the guards to be free flowing and Jamal is doing so. Isiah is also asking the guards to get the ball to Curry and Jamal is doing that the worst. He has poor shot selection and high turnovers but this does not mean he is not coachable.

When LB tried to discipline Nate last year he was blasted. The rest have just kind of let him do his thing. We don't really beleive in putting our foot down anymore and making people change right now. Instead we are content to just sit back and wait so we don't hurt people's feelings or make them uncomfortable. We have it too good in this country.

Nate has the potential to make an impact in the NBA. Yeah the way he does things SOMETIMES makes u wanna just tell him go go take a "time out" and think about what he just did. But he does have the ability and an upside. He can shoot the 3, he is super fast and he can force turnovers. If i remember correctly one NBA coach called him "unstoppable". So if he just gets more serious, works on his game to make it more complete- he can be an incredible back up PG, who knows he could be starting in a few years in the right system.
