NY has to do whatever they have to do to pick up a "true franchise" player.

Making the playoffs like they did with Lenny wilkens didn't prepare the team for a championship run.

It all starts with a FRANCHISE PLAYER.

and no, Bernard king, Patrick Ewing, Charles Oakley et al are not losers. and Channing Frye is not just as good as Karl Malone just because neither have won a ring.

The ability of Isiah to get into people's minds is frightening. No wonder Dolan loves him...

But the problem is we have fewer assets than any other team in the league and objectively are the least likely team to pick up a franchise player

Bonn you are absolutely right.

This is why I am not juiced up on the knicks vying for the playoffs every year.

We will never be in contention for a chip by making the playoffs and not having an opportunity of drafting or trading for a "TRUE SUPERSTAR".

Many Knick fans want to make the playoffs every yr with never really having a chance at a NBA title.

Yeah, seriously. Now, I'm pessimistic about this team's future, but I enjoy rooting for them to win games. I get on my feet and get loud cheering for them in my apartment when they go on runs, especially late in games.
