Blueeats - nope

Thomas has gotta repair the bruised feelings and the foul taste of losing a close game, and then prepare the Knicks to play the Wizards in two days.

Life go on.

That's how it works

But the message came before the game was played, after two consecutive wins. Why are must these egos always be tippy toed around, why so easily bruised? When will he dare his players to rise and show up?

Imagine if Riley and Van Gundy were constantly lowering expectations, talking down to their guys. and giving them ways out.

I really don't care what Isiah says, but it's not inspiring seeing the coach constantly on his knees trying to masturbate flaccid egos.

And you don't know what he's saying behind closed doors so let's just go with what he says to the press. He needs to shut his mouth and crack the whip on his players.

Earl, when Lenny WIlkens was the coach we used to hear stories of Isiah's locker room tirades. Why no more?

During his Red Aurebach Indiana coaching days Jermaine O'neal, Ron Artest, Jalen Rose said he would tear up their lockerrooms during halftime and after games. So obviously that tactic worked because to many here ISAYUGH was the Lombardi of coaches during that watch. But now it's a No No in New York.

Those egos need to rise up and lead us to the promised land.
Sh-t in the popcorn to go with sh-t on the court. Its a theme show like Medieval times.

Masterplan - so long as the Knicks are still in contentio for a playoff spot, no game is "make or break".

But it would be sweet to sneak the Wizards who busted Toronto with ease last night in DC. I plan on being in the house with some rowdy Knicks fans who have heart.

BSeats - if you think what a coach says to the press and what he says in the locker room, behind closed doors, are the same... then you are more delusional than Trevor Ariza ever was.

Why don't we hear about it anymore? Is it no longer happening or is there a reason Isiah doesn't want it out anymore? Why was it different when someone else was the coach and/or some of the players weren't his?

Isiah does not control what is said to the media. You really think he is the one responsible for the Knicks public relations staff person mandatory presence at ALL interviews?

C'mon dude....

I'm talkin' 'bout practice...

Just Say No To Question Dodging

Q. BlueSeats - Earl, when Lenny WIlkens was the coach we used to hear stories of Isiah's locker room tirades. Why no more?

A. The Knicks public relations filter keeps the negative reports on lockdown. Or there is better insulation in the walls.

Q. BlueS - Why don't we hear about it anymore?

A. Beacuse the Knicks don't allow djsu and the fellas anywhere near the locker room. If there was anything juicy, dj would know it don't you think?

Q. BlueSeats - Is it no longer happening or is there a reason Isiah doesn't want it out anymore?

A. Isiah has kicked scorers tables in public, I'm certain he loses his cool in private. Bottom line, It just doesn't matter. It's only entertainment.

Q. BlueSeats - Why was it different when someone else was the coach and/or some of the players weren't his?

A. Beacuse someone else was the coach. Compared to the mild mannered Don Chaney, and the mild-mannered Herb, Isiah is Atilla The Hun. Larry Brown is another story altogether. But what did he acomplish in plaing his politics through the press? He even alienated David Lee.
