This is terrible. Now the apologists will have another excuse for why we're a terrible team.

i'm not trying to make excuses for Jamal, but i'm surprised he was able to be as effective as he's been playing w/a stress fracture in his ankle.

I'm not knocking Jamal, but in theory, this team has gotten many props from the posters on this board for its 'depth'. If we have such depth, we should still be able to make the playoffs without Jamal... yet, many of the optimists admitted defeat. And one even suggested Latrell '$27 mil' Sprewell. LOL.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Come on...
Spree will play for nothing.
15-days... why not to try.
It's just money for MSG and also cool...

You calling me a Knick optimist? lol I rarely even mention the Knicks depth. Always found it to be overrated.

This hurts. Not because Jamal is great but because our offense is dependent on him. If Steph's healthy enough to take it up a notch, the team will be able to come winning at a .400 rate though.

Part of the NBA--good teams have to deal with it. I dont want to go over the many examples--like amare stoudemire out for a year and Phoenix still wins 60 games yada yada. Win or shut up.

Absolutely. I doubt this team has had more injuries than the average team.

we were not making the playoffs, now we get to really see what we have with nate, collins and balkman

could be a good thing, nate can be just as effective as jamal if he can go one on one every play

Who cares.

The only thing this does is give Isiah another excuse.

Nope, just surprised you didn't choose Houston's comeback over Spree's.

Houston CAN'T comeback this season b/c he's signed to the ESPN contract and insurance is picking up his contract. I doubt he'll ever play again anyway.

Sprewell seems to have a big incomplete and b/c he needs money for his kids, an extra million or 2 wouldn't hurt him anyway.
