I actually feel Curry is better but let's not act like this isn't debateable.

These guys are completely different players. I understand what True is doing, since alot of posters on this forum were saying that Eddy is better than Dwight Howard, simply because he scored more points the Howard in their matchups.

Memo is a hell of a nice player, not sure who I'd rather have, but it would be awesome to have them both on the same front-line. Great game tonight by both players.

Bingo....... we have a lot of slow people on this forum.

Being fair, Curry is better.

But Okur is more efficient, and is payed less.

More efficient than over 55% from the field?

oohah

Check out the 3 pt shooting, FT shooting, and I'm sure his FG is hovering around 45%.

So yes......Okur is overall a more efficient scorer b/c he doest it from everywhere.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

the millsap rebound and putback with curry watching, and then millsap about 7 feet away on the baseline with curry just watching him and not even putting a hand up. that's 4 points on those 2 plays. and he turned the ball over 8 times.

with only those plays i listed about he just negated at least 10 points of his own production. now you know why people get on eddy for his defense and rebounding.

Jesus, did True compare Curry to a complete scrub or to a guy who's averaging about 18 and 8 and plays a better all around game?

It's a lot closer than some of you are crying about and I wouldn't begrudge somebody for choosing either. It's certainly far less egregious than picking Curry over Howard.

Dominant post players are one of the rarest commodities in the NBA.
Eddy is a scorer. NOT a dominant post player.

He's a better scorer than Okur. The rest is a wash

Most of his points don't come in the post?
sure... as well as his opponents.

ya that's the 1 thing that REALLLLY doubts me about curry.

the rebounding EFFORT.

its not the #'s, its the completely lack of effort that's just downright depressing.

Yep Curry produces a ton of negative stats that just fall on deaf eyes. He was terrible yesterday IMO. The only thing positive I took from his play was his post game seems like it might be expanding some.

Curry is more of a gamechanger. Other teams HAVE to gameplan around him. You don't have to gameplan around Okur.

Thus, Curry > Okur.

Okur is a very nice player though.

I never liked perimeter oriented big men, and I never will.

Dirk?

Okur is an all-star and Curry isn't. This debate is over.

Wait this is debateble. LOL so I guess one could say in just that 1gm Okur proved he was an All-Star.

Good things come to those who don't get stupid Tatoos and Cry Me A River.

looks like it wasn't Curry who was getting owned in that pic.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.
