Hey Curry, STFU. If you really wanted Isiah to stay you'd be putting your arms up on defense and rebounding like you actually gave a sh!t.

Secondly, who the F do you think you are?!? You don't have the juice to make statements like this. You're not an irreplaceable franchise player. You're like the 8th best center in the league. The fans didn't think that much of you based on the all star voting and neither did the east coaches. All that crap your teammates spewed must have really gone to your head.

I'm seriously getting tired of listening to these idiots.

Wait. Are you seriously trying to deny Curry his right to express his opinion?

That's sort of, you know, unAmerican.

Expressing his opinion is one thing. e.g. "I think Isiah deserves to stay"

No problem with that at all.

Being an idiot and thinking that he can make threatening demands is another.

He needs to STFU.

It's called using his leverage, which from his point of view, is actually quite smart.

If he hadn't improved so much offensively, I might agree with you. But the guy has become one of the most dominant low post scorers in the NBA, and because of that dramatic improvement, I think it's very possible that his defense, rebounding, and shot blocking will also improve within a year, although I doubt he will ever be as dominant defensively as he currently is offensively.

Leverage?? When did Curry become indispensible?

Indispensibility should be viewed on a spectrum. Being arguably the most irreplaceable player on the team confers some degree of leverage.

Queenie - no. He holds a voice card

I'd prefer we ship him to Siberia with a phone card, if that.

And I thought players and coaches are not supposed to use the media to voice internal issues. Oh NO...a violation of the sacred policy. You would think Isiah cured all ills of society, reformed our health care system and restored order among Sunni and Shiite groups.

Did John Elway hold the Baltimore Colts hostage?

just checking

You can fire an NFL player, you can't do that in the NBA. I would say that half our team would be unemployed.

Guess what, you follow a team this closely and you are bound to learn more than you may fee comfortable with. That goes for any sport and any franchise.

You can't ride a players jock daily and NOT find out something about how he thinks from a media corps that covers their every move.

Is what Edy Curry said more important than his work ethic on he court?

Some people in Boston hated Bill Russell with a viciousness so raw Bob Cousy had to step in. Dee Brown had his house deliberately vandalized because people dindn't like the complexion of his woman.

What does that have to do with Eddy Curry?

Not a damn thing.

These are people who breathe and have opinions. Their opinions are no less valid than some of the tripe that appears here.

Rap on.

LOL @ his quotes on Marbury uhhhhhhh if he's smart he won't listen to anything he has to say because Marbury did everything the wrong way. He's off to a wonderful start to say the least.

Yup, and last year was ample evidence of what Marbury's "Isiah or bust" edict can reap.

This is what we now call "leadership."

Misterearl doesn't beg to differ. Obviously you and I have no clue.

BlueSeats - and please don't say a word about Curry's performance the next time he drops 28 and 7 boards.

Just STFU. Deal?

Eddy holds the same juice card Jermaine did. Funny how he's still in Indy.

Eddy can say anything he wants, guys in sports say a lot worse. I have no problem with him spouting.

However Isles is 100% right.

You want to save Isiah's job? Great. Follow my easy 3-step program and you too Eddy can save your coach's job!!!!

Step 1: BOX OUT. More rebounds = more possesions = more points = a better chance of winning the game!

Step 2: Raise your hands when on defense. This allows you to alter shots, deflect passes and perhaps even log a block or two!

Step 3: Lose 20 pounds. This will make steps 1 and 2 much easier, and the chicks will dig it also!

Eddy, keep your head up... YOU CAN DO IT!

The one difference here that makes for interesting talk is that- though Stephon has been a rabid Isiah supporter, he never said he would demand a trade from NY if Zeke was shown the door.

Eddy has now uttered those words- which will now be discussed by media, critics and anyone with a mouth in sports ad nauseum. He said he would ask for a trade if Isiah goes. Even Marbles never did that.

Someone has made Eddy feel very special!!! Special enough that he thinks he is Patrick Ewing (when the whole Van Gundy thing was going on).

Patrick Ewing = 50 Greatest Player

Eddy Curry = 2007 All-Star Game reject

Honestly, I like Eddy alot...but to have the audacity to proclaim that if Isiah goes, he follows suit is a little much.

We're on a mini-win streak and the forums filled with posts about Knick player quotes. The guys who dislike Curry will look to poke holes in whatever he says, just like whenever Marbury speaks you have guys waiting to jump down his throat for what he said.

Why are these forums filled with these sniveling types who when the team is not losing, pick on the players for their jollies?

The next time you read a quote you don't like, how about instead of telling the Knicks to STFU you should keep your feelings to yourself? Lets try that. That would be right nice, a world where nobody can express themselves.

Hypocrite.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

Is it wrong that I'm in complete and total apathy at this point as far as this whole Isiah thing goes?

Seriously. I just want to win. Zeke or no Zeke. It's the NEW YORK Knicks.

to be fair to eddy he didnt come out and proclaim this but he needs to watch his mouth.

It came from a question about "would u be shocked if isiah got fired"

so hes just standing up for his coach in a question posed to him..... But he needs to watch his mouth, he is in NY and hes gunna learn quick with this whole fiasco
