That's not going to work.

Also until someone actually calls you out specifically don't be so quick to include youself in the supposed digs.

It's too bad you are looking at this from the ground up.

Listen, I don't need to put this season under a microscope, b/c **** happens, players get injured, players have slumps, road trips can kill, etc.

I'm trying to look at the forest, not the trees here.

Isiah has had 3 years to make an impact.

What he's done is give us:

* 2 lottery seasons
* 1 8th seed, which we lost in 4 straight games to the Nets.

Evident progress for me is to get somewhere close to .500, even if we miss the playoffs. I need to see him give us the best record during his tenure yet.

For christ sake, we're behind the Toronto CRAPTORS in the worst division in basketball.

How is that evident progress?

Eddy Curry is playing 5 more minutes a game, and is BARELY averaging 1 rebound more; his block numbers are the lowest of his career; his FT% stinks, his assist numbers are the same.

Is that evident "progress" for your supposed All-Star franchise big?

Ok, so he's averaging 19 ppg at a high clip. Well if you check out the stats.....its really a science......he's giving up about the same number of points on the defensive end from all the turnovers and non-intimidation in the paint.

Hell, we might as well have kept Sweets and plugged him in for 20 minutes to give us some "dominating" offense in the paint. Hey atleast he would've rebounded better.

Point is I'm sick of all this Curry progress talk. As far as I'm concerned the reason we suck with all this "talent" is b/c Isiah has no vision as a coach or GM; he doesn't know how to build a team; doesn't have the patience to wait for a sure thing like Paxson.

He makes far too many excuses for losses; is trying to mold players into something they never were to begin with, and is altogether very ****y and full of himself.

Of course none of that is why he'll get fired.

Season ticket sales are the only thing Dolan will look at....but hey if it means he's gone, I don't care if it's b/c Isiah forgot to clip his ******* hairs.

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

It ain't your money
Isiah Thomas dissed Larry Bird
When Stephon Marbury dies, he wants his ashes sprinkled over Madison Square Garden
David Lee is a caucasion
Jamal Crawford's not afraid to take a shot at the end of the game
Channing Frye is a nice kid and his name is Channing
James Dolan used to be a juicer
Karl Malone caused Isiah's scar
Eddy Curry is a big man
Don Chaney was escorted from the garden by security guards

most people aren't into micro bashing every game, move, minute, statement, etc.

Most see the youth and the future.

But like I've said previously, it's more fun to read and post with the ... um ... oh, realists.

But reality, the knicks have an extremely youthful and upside filled core.

keep it comin fellas, I'm waiting for the renewal of his contract so most of the realists can stick to their pledges to stop posting. (jokes)
no need to micro bash every game.

This season sucks
Last season sucks
Season before last sucked
Season before that ended in the Nets embarrassing us back to the playoffs

what this poll doesn't take into account is Dolan as owner.

And I think here is the question I want answered-

Did Isiah make his moves, e.g. Curry S&T, because Dolan said do something now, even if its a marginal increase

Or did he make his moves, again Curry S&T, because he honestly thought Curry had the potential to be a dominating center that could get us a championship.

To the press, he's said the latter.

If its the former- then to some extent, doesn't really matter who the GM is, because Dolan wants a 'Yes' man, not someone who is going to stand up to him and say 'No, Mr. Dolan, I'm playing for the lottery this year, its the only way for us to secure Championship talent."

At this point, IMO, you have to go with the devil you know rather than the devil you don't know. I'd rather Isiah stick around another year than have our squad's dumbass owner try to find his replacement.
