I think that Curry's lapses on defense are b/c of hit weight.

I know when I'm out of shape I can only go hard on one half of the court.

He needs to lose another 10-15 pounds to be in perfect shape.

It's not impossible.

There are diets out there with exercise that can get an athlete to optimum fitness w/o having to eat absolute crap all the time.


Honestly I get the feeling the Bulls just EXPECTED Curry to get himself in shape, which is fine 90% of the time. But Eddy needed grooming coming out of H.S. probly.


Hopefully Isiah works on him this summer with QRich and Jordan's old trainer.


He doesn't need to be a good defender, just an intimidator.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Isiah himself said Eddy was at fault there. But he sugar-coated it as he always does to the media (and how it infuriates some posters around here always makes me chuckle because they don't realize what he is doing. Its called the anti-LB.) when he praised the veteran know-how.

What isiah really wanted to say: It doesn't take a veteran to box-out his man chump!

Isiah then said Eddy's next evolution will be on his rebounding, another oh so subtle dig. But not in a skiles way "Jump" or an LB way "he didn't even know where the shot clock was", "delusional" etc...

Eddy has to be at fault for not securing the rebound. Isiah got the message to the media in a subtle way that doesn't hurt ECs feelings.

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

DJ he's 1-way all day everyday.

Curry has led the team in rebounding 7 of 42gms

He's had streaks this yr of 7gms, 5gms, 6gms and 6gms with 0 Blocks

33gm streak of more turnovers than assist

He only has 11 double doubles on the season

His turnovers outnumber his Ast, Blks, Stls combined

This sums up the problem people have with him right now. Fancy stats, but lack of effort on that end of the court costs us every night. Against the Nets it cost us the game.

Nothing is wrong with holding somebody accounatble but that doesnt mean regardless of anything positive a person does you constantly dwel on the negative. Everytime somebody posts a positive article about the Knicks on this board the hater go in to attack mode.

This is a good point. Isiah knows what he is doing with Eddy. At the beginning of the pre-season, he was saying that Eddy met the fitness / weight loss goals that had been set for him. Isiah is actually developing Eddy - he knows that this is a long-term process.

So the next area that Eddy needs to improve is rebounding. This is no secret, but it does no good for Isiah to be trumpeting that to all the papers. The critical thing is accountability. And I don't mean that Isiah needs to hold Eddy accountable, I mean that Eddy needs to hold Eddy accountable. Eddy's statement that the nets game was a "must win" definitely sounded like he is growing in that respect.
