Marion, Artest & Howard are similar players to AK47... some areas 1 is better than the others, but overall they're about on the same level imho... Howard may be lagging behind by just a little, but not by much.

i rank Paul just behind AI & Nash among NBA PG's... probably on a similar level as J Kidd & Chauncey right now. (i consider D Wade a SG)

Point is that point guard is the most replaceable position in the NBA. I can name 20 PGs who do some facet of what Paul does (we have three of them). I can name maybe 2 or 3 SFs in the entire NBA who do some facet of what Andre Kirilenko does. That's the difference.

I think thats where you're wrong though. You can look at stats all you want(Paul has great stats for that matter) but it's his intangibles that make him the player I believe is. Watching Chris Paul in 2005 ACC and NCAA tournaments as a sophmore was remarkable, he put the entire team on his back and carried them. The guy is a great player, a great teammate and a solid guy off the court. There are not too many PG's like him.

it would depend on the makeup of the rest of my team for me i guess... right now on this team w/the players we have, i honestly can't even tell u who i'd pick to be honest tho... both would be so great to have for their own reasons... obviously if we took Paul, i'd have to get rid of Marbury.

eh, those guys aren't getting any playing time anyway.

Kirilenko is nowhere near the player he used to be. I think he lost a step or more with that knee injury.

He has injury issues and is getting huge money and doesn't fit into the jazz system right now and they can afford to move him with okur, boozer, williams

Of your list, I take him over Melo, Duncan (age), KG (age), Bosh, Josh Howard, Chris Paul, Joe Johnson, Redd, Billups, Iverson and Artest.

I'm sure you disagree, but Kirilenko is a monster. I can't even believe Paul, Redd, Josh Howard, Joe Johnson were in your list. That's an insult to how good Kirilenko is, IMHO.

Kirilenko, who earns $12.36 million salary this season and is owed another $63 million over the next four years, finished the game without a basket for the first time all season (he was 0-for-4 from the field), and was badly faked a couple of times by Gilbert Arenas on the defensive end.
The 25-year-old seemed invisible on the floor much of the game. But as subpar as his play was, his body language was even worse. As the Jazz and Wizards grabbed the lead back and forth in the final minutes of Monday's game, the Jazz's bench was standing and cheering on every possession - except for Kirilenko, who sat quietly on the last chair, his view of the court blocked.
After the game, Kirilenko dressed quickly and left the locker room before the media was admitted. Before the game, he said only that he felt fine, that he was playing as hard as ever. "It's tough to lose," he said of the Jazz's losing streak.
But it's even tougher on Sloan, who must fear he is slowly losing one of his best players. "I've never told him not to shoot, never told him not to run hard, never told him he had to make spectacular passes," Sloan said. "Every player goes through this. It's a matter of, how do you fight out of it?"
One popular theory holds that Kirilenko feels shut out of the offense by the rise of Mehmet Okur and Carlos Boozer. How about Nate, junky Jerome and a future draft pick? Nate's turned into a punk attitude and is seeing less time on the floor. I kind of like the Russian dude also and think he could adjust to Knicks life. And I say future draft pick, because we are getting better and will have no use in trying to build anymore through the draft. Not to mention, in a few more years, key contracts will be ending on this team and you know what that could mean right?
