if francis does sign with philly, than i have no doubtin my mind that brown was behind the ariza trade
its doesnt matter who was behind it, only who has the final authority to pull the trigger or kill it.

Well it does matter from the standpoint that some people here are hell bent on the idea that LB wasn't given things he asked for, and was basically undermined. I would think that trading for Francis is proof positive that Isiah was giving LB what he wanted. Which is more or less what I feel he should have been doing.

killa, the GM should know what's best for his team. If Isiah didn't think Francis was best, and you know he didn't like the idea, then he's to blame. You sometimes gotto deny your employees, Killa.

Then everyone kills Isiah for not letting Brown "Shop for his own groceries".

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

This one really is a case of posters wanting to have it both ways where they would have criticized Isiah no matter what decision he made.

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Yeah, because the only 2 options were the opposite extremes. Nothing in the middle would have worked, right?

I would not believe this story look at who the author is. Francis might be bought out but No Webber in NY.

The brown argument is dumb. Brown wanted Francis. Isiah got Francis. Then guys say well sometimes you gotta say no to your employees.

Ok well that is why brown sucked and isiah was a dope for signing brown in the first place cuz he is a backstabbing, cutthroat, *******.

The end.

Okay so we got Francis. What was the vision? What was the move after that which was going to make Francis work? And if there was no move planned then did Isiah really think Francis/Marbs would work even if Brown did want him.

In summary, as an organization why are we making moves without having a long-term plan? Whether those moves are wanted by Isiah or LB is not the point. Why are we doing this is the question. Layden did it. Isiah has done it. Now we are saying LB did it. So why as a Knick organization are we creating an atmosphere where our GM's and coaches keep doing it?

Stop focusing on the individual and think of what the organization is doing. Stop worrying about who's fault things are and wonder why your organization has made the same mistakes year after year.

I want webber. I don't care how old he is. The knicks need a stop gap player.

Frye is the biggest retard this side of the special Olympics, but if there was a player that I wanted frye to become that would be Chris webber.

Chris is a jumpshooting bigman with awesome passing ability. He is also very elusive and creative and simple with his face up game. Webber made frye look like the tard he is the first time the knicks played Philly this year.

Webber would be a rental. A rental with balls and leadership qualities. Experience. A freakin icon in my book.

Bottom line for me with all this is webber can make the knicks better. He is gonna get guys buckets with his dope passing. He can still rebound more effectively than frye. He also provides a second option in the post. He is a locker room presence. He is a dude that will take the mike away from isiah and marbs a little when the press is hounding.

At any rate, as the genius already predicted(that would be me), the nets are gonna sign webber and win the championship with him being credited with taking their team to the next level. While ny fans still argue about brown, marbs, a shotblocker, isiah and dolan.

The dumbest move Francis could make is joining up with Brown again. I hope he learned his lesson the first time around.

Time for Francis to change his game. His knee will probably be gimpy for the rest of his career, and the day he feels good and comes up with the big slam will probably hurt him real bad.

how about Francis, Malik & Frye for CWebb

Sixers take on an extra year of contracts, but they also get a talented young player to take CWebb's place... Knicks unload the extra year on Francis & Malik's contracts... you gotta give something to get something in this world.

whats more ridiculous that Nate bombarded teammates with spitballs or that he was suspended for it?

You can't be serious. Obviously, if he got suspended for that, he deserved it. I'm sure if everyone was playing along and cool with it, it would've been fine. If he, and only he, got suspended, then he was doing it... and his teammates, coach and management got annoyed and sent him a message.

And you really can't make this stuff up. Nate needs to go back to elementary school and learn how to behave.

I don't know.. Its just spitballs, suspended? thats a litle silly imo
