if Marbury was dishing out 12 assists a game i'd probably be a little more forgiving about his lack of defense

I would give Frye another yr. And Curry has to much potential to be given up on. He should be given 2-3yrs. And Lee is a no brainer.

Everyone else is expendable. But we all know that Marbury & Francis aren't movable because of there contracts. All we should focus on is the draft and maybe a cheap signing with good potential. We need an outside shooter & shotblocker to compliment Curry,Frye,LEE. Let the rest of the contracts walk. Trade for less talent but shorter contracts with the rest if we could. Maybe Crawford could got to quality team for shorter contract. Buy out James. Package Nate & Q for less talent and shorter contract.

Holfresh Lee isnt a good defender yet but to think he just wants to rebound is dumb. He competes, plays hard what is your excuse that Frye get 5 rebounds a game? what is your excuse that he is soft. For his bad defense he get his team 4 extra posssesions a game, has more assists and steals than Frye.

This isn't about Frye versus Lee...it's about finding a power forward that can help the Knicks the next 5-7 years...Right now neither is making the grade....Lee sucks on Offense and Defense...Frye sucks defense and rebounding....Do we really want to run David Lee out there against the best the league has to offer...If thats the case, we will be watching very bad team for the next few years...I think thats the problem with you guys here...You have it in your mind that it's Lee and Frye....NO...Its Lee against Zack Randolf, KG,Dumcan,Nowitzi,Bosh, etc...Right now we are on the losing end against all those players with either of our power forwards....

I'm telling you. If you throw Brandon Roy in the Knicks backcourt, I'd have a much different perception on the future of this team. This team needs a top young wingman in the worst way.

What guard doenst go completely nuts against us? The are veterns and we make Chucky Atkins look like Nate Archibald. Rip gets 51 but it is because he is hot.

We need David Lee and Channing Frye rolled into one....Our guard will be ok if we have interior Defense to stop the penetrator...We need a PF to step out and knock down the open jumper...Grab rebounds in the context of playing a defensive game..Meaning not leaving your man wide open to go after a rebound...Marbs are Craw are always easy to blame....Marbs play the best defense of any starter this year but somehow he is the weakness...

Better defense all around....Curry has to play better D for a guy his size...Frye and Lee certainly has to play better D...We need a young guard like ny4ever said to grow with this young tea...Also a young play maker that matter...But these things can only happen in stages...Rinht now this season we can improve immensely if we were committed to defense...If Marbs can run hard on D, so can everyone else...Don't tell me Lee can't play D, he is very athletic and quick...That tells me he is lazy on defense...If that guy play defense and block a few shot he would be a star in this league...Thats all I'm looking for..People here think I don't like Lee, not true...I like the Knicks and right now our young bigs need to be better....I'm happy about Lee's improvement and his all around game..The areas he has improved in is more difficult than playing defense..This tells me he is not trying on D..

I don't think he is the best defender but he has play the best so far for anyone who gets major time...I think Jarred is overrated defensively..Balkman might be our best but he isn't a very good man to man defender...Excellent help defender...

Tell that to Shaq and Ben Wallace...How many people you think has been hired for Shaq in his lifetime...I'm willing to bet that over 1 million USD was spent in man hours to help Shaq improve his free throws in his NBA career....

Wilt and shaq have hands that are so big it makes it tough to have a great touch. Karl Malone made himself into a great FT shooter and Wallace has no offensive skills at all.

Have you ever listened to Clyde talk about free throw shooting?....and way to take 2 extreme instances and come to a conclusion.

I could shoot FTs at >80% with practice, but could never play NBA caliber defense.

If Q played all season he was my hands down MVP on the Knicks...Rebounding, shooting, Defense and overall leadership....Knicks miss him dearly...December would have been different with him I think...
