Earl would ya chill out and laugh at a joke that includes Isiah's name once in awhile. Every time someone disparages Isiah, you are there in an instant to stand by your man.

As you would say...

It's just basketball.

LOL. Some people actually think Isiah wouldn't get jealous of his players. Yeah right. He's such a stable person.

I don't think any Knick fan, specially not anyone on these forums, should be making comments about other people's stability or lack of it. After all the loses, all the pain, all the trauma and the drama... and now the MELO-drama, the last thing any of us are is stable...

I used to cut myself and drink urine...now i watch the Knicks

It's b/c he's white...
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

I see a lot of people saying that Lee is going to get paid, just a question, how much do you guys think Lee is worth at this point? Honestly, I would probably pay him 10-12 a year just to keep him around, but then again, I dont know Squat...how much do you resign Lee to?

Right now, IMO, Lee is worth $7-8M a year.

82games.com actually has a stat called a "Fair Salary". I'll have to go and look it up.

anrst - so why did Isiah draft Lee and Balkman?

To sabotage their NBA careers?

good thinking

He drafted them b/c he thought they'd be good, which they are. But Isiah is a sick sick person, and his motivations get twisted and warped and confused. It's not so crazy to think that crazy Isiah would become jealous of their popularity.

It may not be crazy, but its close... Since there is absolutely NO basis for believing that, I would think that it has more to do with Isiah giving public support to the guys who he feels need it the most. Since Lee already has the respect of the fans, hes trying to give both a confidence and a popularity boost to guys who need it? You guys rememeberlast month when Isiah gave Francis alot of praise for his "great D" after he had an awful offensive game? Hes just trying to keep the confidence of his team up. Either that or hes jealous.

Exactly, Lee does not need IT's support or encouragement in the media. The fans love him and IT shows his support by giving him playing time. IT is trying to focus on getting the fans off of the backs of Marbury and others and getting those guys going again. Plus, the NY media is likely only focusing on the negative, which means you only hear quotes about Marbury, Francis, Nate, and Curry for the most part. IT is not worrying about Lee or Balkman (other than to give Balkman some props to justify his pick, which is looking better and better every game).

How come Isiah never gives Lee any props???? (Brown diddnt either)
