Holfresh that is fair enough answer. Please answer me this then. How does JJ start in front of Lee?

I know it's corny but Lee helps the team more with the second unit giving them a boost when he comes into games...Since lee started the second unit has been ineffective...The second unit help the Knicks win a few early games...It's not about who starts but who finishes...My personal problem with Lee at starting PF is that he provides no defensive presence to the position...There are way too much layups and easy interior baskets when he is in there...He is the great rebounder that we desperately need but we also need a guy to block a few shots a stretch the defense to help Curry...But Lee needs major minutes...I think he needs to play next to Frye( center)or Cato..Curry and Lee provides a weak defensive front...

I think you have to single them both out for making a great play. To single one out and not the other is to slight the other.

So let me get this straight Lee is the worst inside defender. The last 13 games he has 10 blocks, Frye first 15 games he started he had 11 blocks. Curry is averaging .6 per year. Now look at the rebounding and there is a huge difference how many more shots does Lee get the knicks per game with tip outs and offensive boards? Look at his record compared to Frye and Jeffires when they start. The interior defense is poor but when you play 5 on 3 most of the game it is tough. Ever since JJ started the team gave up the most points they have given up for the year. The best players that perfomr should start and JJ and Frye dont deserve to start in front of Lee right now? How do you know that Fyre or JJ can be successful with the bench unit?

I'm telling you Isiah is hiding Lee from other GM's and its a shame. He knows any trade he makes will have to involve Lee. I still say start Lee and lets win some games!

Holfresh I have to give it to you, your one smart cookie. The only leg you can stand on is defense because there isnt really a stat for that. Every single stat except blocks Lee beats Frye in.

guns, what motivation would Isiah have to hide D Lee from other GM's if he's under Dolan's mandate to win with what he's got? wouldn't it be better just to play your best players & win as many games as you can so you can save your own job instead? think about it... that theory may be valid if Isiah were looking to make deals like the past few years, but i think Dolan's through with giving up young talent & picks for veterans w/albatross contracts.

After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

When a black player makes a great play its called "instinct".

When a white player makes a great play its called a "high IQ" play!

Since Marbury has a low IQ then he had to have relied on his superior physical talent to make a great play. Since Lee, who is white and has lesser natural ability would have to have used his intelligence.

Lee is a bad defender but must use his cunning and insider trading information to have grabbed so many rebounds and manipulated the energy markets make blocked shots. Lee is the Enron of hoop.

For Marbury to have made that shot he would have had to have figured out that he could make the play inside of of 3 seconds and that Okur, a Turk with Euro defense instincts (run away! run away!) would likely not try to stop him! That showed a lot of analytical information for such a pea brain. Lee being the rainmaker would have had to interveaned (divine?) permitting Prophetbury to succeed.

Or

Lee and marbury made a nice connection and likely Marbury thought that if he just went to the basket he very well could get fouled and only down by one could at least hit one of them to tie. There are two outcomes by doing this and not pulling up for a jumper. Both are positive.

Kudos to both for making a good Basketball Play.

They are both NBA professionals after all! IQ, instinct and intellegence should be present in both.

It was good play regardless of how it happened!

Hollfresh will argue with his shadow.
