Gar (NYC): Nate was the worst type of instigator. He would step up and talk BIG, but once someone stepped up to him, he backed off. Did you see how fast he backed off Carmelo and stood besides his teammates once he realized the Nuggets were ready for a brawl?

SportsNation Bill Simmons: I disagree - I thought Nate represented himself pretty well. He's 5-foot-7 for God's sake. His reverse takedown of JR Smith was pretty nice. I just think the guy is a loose cannon - he's like Stephen Jackson with small man's complex.

Its really all on Nate, he throw smith after he got into collins face and thats how the whole thing got going.....

you get closelined by anyone and you are going to be a little upset and want to get in someones face

Nate is good guy on a team with no direction from his teammates. IF Nate PLayed with KIdd or Paul or Nash, he would a sixth man of the year. Nate is the kind of guy who is great around good guys and terrible around bad ones.

HE just has to grow up some more and learn on the fly.

Every hood I have been in has a dude name "Shorty Wop, Short Dog, Lil Bit, Half Pint, Lil Man, Smalls or Shorty Long". These are names of guys with a REP for something to prove. They will always be seen in most cases be the center of a beef and they always want to prove that "even though I am short, I will still knock you out. These are dangerous people with a serious chip on their shoulders and they cause major problems.
