I think Collins is tired of loosing.

That's what I think too. I don't think Isiah sent him in to do that. BRIGGS the Knicks were down by 20, Mardy's on the end of the bench, so he gets burn in that kind of sitiation. How about betting a lot of money that Karl was trying to get revenge on Isiah for firing Brown after both had made comments about each other as well, and the Knicks stealing one from the Nuggets earlier in the season?

BS-- use your brain Mardy Collins is a rookie who has played 20 minutes for his career--there is NO way he would've committed a brutal foul like that with 1 minute left without prompting--he did it last night--that is what 15th men are sent out there to do--but this was particularly ugly and really unecessary. I know some people will $pin it, but anyone who knows basketball knows what transpired.

I have little doubt Isiah was behind it, for the above reasons ... and even if Isiah didn't tell collins to do that, he's still responsible for his players actions - despite the fact that he's been accountable for nothing since his reign of atrocity infected the garden

nate is like earl boykins, probly stronger.

btw, does this not tell us once and for all who the "dogs" are on this team, and who are the "Pheonix Sun" Channing Frye whitebreak afraid to mix it up pussies?

Naterob, Jefferies, Lee, Malik, Collins, Cato, Qrich.

Everyone else can get the **** traded.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

Isiah has no integrity.

He may be a G, but he's a snake too.

Oakley was thug as hell, but he had integrity and did what he had to, and never stabbed anybody in the back.

Lee's a dog.

He may not be a thug, but he's DEF. a dog.

------>I actually didn't see yesterday's game. So why are you commenting on something you did not see? I don't get what being a rookie has to do with it. Sure, I can see as the 15th man that he can be sacrificed, but none of us really know what happened. You're speculating.--No I'm not speculating. There is a preponderance of evidence that overwhelmingly supports what I said. IT MADE the 15th man--a rookie stooge named Mardy Collins--who comes from a very tough coach who pulls the same sht--go out there and whack this kid. If you want to believe otherwise--that's cool. But imho--it's BS. I want IT and is low-class act out and so does 90% of other fans. If that is rude---nothing personal meant to you but rather the message---- Merry X-mas:)

i think the problem is Isiah is trying to instill that old school tough guy bad boy attitude on this team, but they're not composed of old school bad boy tough guy type players (except for tough guy 49 cent & maybe Q)... this is a new NBA... the refs aren't tolerating the same stuff that went on back in the day (when the Pistons & Knicks literally scared the crap outta opponents who came into their house)

i like the fact that the teammates stood up for each other, but Nate's conduct was unacceptable & he really needs to pop a few prozacs before the game because he's way too hopped up when he's on the floor... all this could have been prevented if Nate hadn't started pushing people around & acting like tough guy 49 cent thug... i have no problem w/Mardy fouling JR Smith hard to send a message, that type of stuff happens in the NBA... Isiah's edict isn't unique to himself, so all this griping about him being a snake or whatnot is pretty pointless to this discussion... he's not the only NBA coach to tell his players to do that... Pat Riley's given a few orders like that over the years too.

I was referring to the game BEFORE the Denver game, the Indiana game. So, it may be the case that Isiah did as you said. I'll concede that I didn't know about the Indiana game so I didn't have that as a basis for knowledge. Does it seem like a chance that he did send Mardy out like that? Sure, and it will be interesting to see what the NBA does about it. Oh, and I think your 90% of fans are tired with Isiah is reaching a bit, although niether of us have any statstical basis for such a claim.

Didn't Collins play for Chaney. Didn't Chaney once tell one of his players to decapitate someone? Collins is not new to this.
I just hope that people will like me
