That's what I think too. I don't think Isiah sent him in to do that. BRIGGS the Knicks were down by 20, Mardy's on the end of the bench, so he gets burn in that kind of sitiation. How about betting a lot of money that Karl was trying to get revenge on Isiah for firing Brown after both had made comments about each other as well, and the Knicks stealing one from the Nuggets earlier in the season?
BS-- use your brain Mardy Collins is a rookie who has played 20 minutes for his career--there is NO way he would've committed a brutal foul like that with 1 minute left without prompting--he did it last night--that is what 15th men are sent out there to do--but this was particularly ugly and really unecessary. I know some people will $pin it, but anyone who knows basketball knows what transpired.
I have little doubt Isiah was behind it, for the above reasons ... and even if Isiah didn't tell collins to do that, he's still responsible for his players actions - despite the fact that he's been accountable for nothing since his reign of atrocity infected the garden
