I'll answer it after you tell me that not only are you not questioning my basketball IQ but that you highly respect it.
If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

I hate defending Isles because he can defend himself, but I wouldn't waste my time answering a question the way you phrased it. Why not jsut ask the question. You would probably get a legitimate response to it, instead of having to go through what you are going through now?

Just my 2 cents.
I just hope that people will like me

Funny how certain people only celebrate after the Knicks lose

Funny how certain people only celebrate after the Knicks win

Was this meant to be tongue-in-cheek?

Of course we celebrate after wins. You can't celebrate a loss.
It's the folks who post negatively after a win i don't understand.
OK, if we were a team like the PISTONS and we drop a bad game i understand but we're not them/
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

Have the Knicks had their whole team one game this season?

No excuses for us, none for them either. A W is a W, an L is an L.

Knicks did what they were supposed to against a depleted team: Smack them! Not a nail-biter, not a comeback loss, they drubbed the Hawks.

Good win.

oohah

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

Islesfan - order for anyone to "highly respect" your Knicks basketball IQ you must first pass Part One the Standard Aptitude Knicks (S A K) Test to verify your base of hoops knowledge

Anything less than passing this basic requirement would be granting arbitrary status

Please answer the following questions:

1. Name the General Manager during the Red Holzman years? (bonus) How did they get along?

2. What uniform number did Richie Guerin wear?

3. Where did The Captain, Willis Reed, attend college?

4. Name the grocery chain where John Starks bagged groceries

5. What was Dave DeBusshere's other professional sport and what position did he play?

5. What section does djsu occupy?

6. How many escaltors are out of order during a typical Knicks game at The Garden?

7. If you could talk to one celebrity Knicks fan, who would it be?

8. Who was the Knicks trainer before Mike Saunders?

9. When Phil Chenier clocked Walt Frazier at the base of his neck with an elbow during a game, what was Clyde's response?

10. What classification was David Lee when he left the University of Florida?

Thank you for taking Part One of the S A K

Jared is going to help. Now against tougher Competition we may not win by double digits, but we can still WIN. The thing is that they're still just getting used to all of this. Jared has to jell with the rest of the team and vice versa. Then when Frye comes back we have to work him in. The thing is that We're getting STRONGER! Isiah has to learn his team and try some things to get a better sense of what works. With each game he's getting closer and the team is growing together.

If we had Jeffries the whole season it's not hard to see where he might have helped in many of our games. We're still a bad defensive team but at least we know this team can play Zone and be effective. If joe Johnson was there it still may not have helped the Hawks, much like it didn't stop us from coming back against the Celts who have a shooter like Pierce. Yes a great shooter will eventually break loose for some shots, but overall it should cut down on their open looks and more importantly all they get is long range shots and no penetration.
