There is nobody in the NBA that can stop Arenas when he is feeling it. And Jaimison is one of the most versitile scorers in the game. He can shoot out all the way to 3. He can post up, put it on the floor. You have to have players that match there production, shut down everyone else on there roster, and at least challenge Arenas & Jaimisons shots. There were to many times when we went on scoreing droughts. And the fact that we aren't a good 3 pt shooting team since we are an offensive contructed team with little defense is a killer.

No one said you have to shut those players down. But change a few shots, make an effort, and maybe we get a few swings in our favor and win. We didn't have many players on the floor who were capable of doing that.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

BlueSeats - your post 2138 adds texture and depth to the standardly superficial discussion of basketball and prejudice. Thank you.

holfresh - I had to bounce as well but your thoughts are appreciated. I like tough guys as much as the next Noo Yawkuh, that's why people loved Starks vaudeville act so dearly.

Head butts, dunks, stares...tragic misses... the whole enchilada.

Bottom line bro... the Knicks desperately need a LEAD guard with the burning intensity of Isiah Thomas. To date he hasn't been able to lay hands on Marbury and infuse him with the spirit of Nate Archibald or even Rick Brunson.

Mardy Collins is 6'6 and played for thay maniac John Chaney...

sounds like a plan to me

The point is

Marbury doesn't suck as bad a people have cast him to suck

But he's not what the current roster needs.

Time waits for no one

The point being, once the Knicks can put a set of players on the floor which provide matchup advantages on defense, the victories will become more steady... as in Eddy.

The possibility, and positive effects, of running 6'11 Jared Jeffries as point forward should not be underestimated.

David Lee and Channing Frye can share the four spot. Lee brings movement and rebounding... Frye brings the sweet outside shot.
Both need to improve defensively.

Both of them.
