First he improved his offensive game. Next he will improve his defensive game but at some point guys also have to guard their own players as well. We cant blame Curry for everything. 2 Gerald Wallaces fast break alley oop dunks one off a Curry missed ft and another off a Jcraw missed shot can not be blamed on Curry. Curry , Shaq nor any big is going to beat Gerald Wallace down the court when he has a 15 foot head start. Where is the guy who actually guards Gerald Wallace? The Curry blame goes off the charts because we have nobody on the perimeter that can guard their own men often. I dont see many Centers outscoring Curry head to head outside of Yao

Curry had a harder time against OK4 than he did against Primo.

Also my team didnt give up multiple lottery picks for OK4, sign him to a star sized contract and talk about him as a once in a generation player. If we did I would probably scrutinize him the same way.

Its not hate. I dont hate Eddy. Its not his fault Isiah made a crappy trade for him. I would like it if Eddy was in shape. He's got great potential but BB isnt his main priority. The man is fat

Curry scored often against Okefor. He had around 20 points against him over all last night.

Curry isnt responsible for what Isiah traded and that pick is yet to be determined. Its also a swap which you somehow fail to mention. Why should you blame Curry for a move Isiah made?

Currys 9 mill a year is not a star contract. Its average for a starting center in todays market. JJ makes 6 mill a year. Dally 10 mill plus. Chandler 10 mill plus. Adonis Foyle is at 8 mill. Nene is at 10 mill plus. Wallace is at 15 mill a year and Curry out plays him head to head.
pretty much what I said. Most of the contracts you listed however are bad ones however. Dampier, Foyle and JJ are all mistake contracts those teams would love to get out of. Dalembert and Chandler got those contracts because they were young. If it was just money fine, Eddy is a good investment. But as you know he's already cost us one high pick and will probably cost another.

those were transition buckets. The Knicks got back on D, and Curry got back on D. They just didnt put a body on Wallace or even raise an arm and the result were rim rocking dunks.

This isnt all Eddy's fault. I'm not saying that.

However when you give up the #2 pick and barring Jesus himself coming over in a trade another high lottery pick this year in a deeper draft for a guy and give him a big contract you just want to see more effort.

Curry is not responsible at all for what Isiah as a GM decideds to trade. Its pretty twisted to blame him for that. Right now its Mike Sweetney and Tyrus Thomas. Big deal, lol. :)I dont deal in probablys. Lets wait and see since probably means nothing.

Now back to the contract. Please name all the NBA centers that earn their pay and what their pay is above Curry.

Ive changed my mind.

I think based on what some people say Curry must be the worst player in the nba and should be cut right away. I'm glad Ive decided to listen to these people. Cut Curry and then we can move on to winning championship games. Its obvious we are better without him. I remember when people said we were better without Patrick. That he slowed us down on offense and couldnt defend anymore. I was foolish enough to argue with them and clearly they were right then as well.

Curry's out of shape for an NBA player. That's part of why he's so slow to help on D and can't get down the court as fast as his man can. We get awful defense from the most important position on the defensive end of the game (the "man in the middle").

Cut Curry. He obviously is the reason the team loses games. Cut him today! We can start winning championships this year!

What kind of posting? Some people bash Curry relentlessly. All I hear is how bad he is and how much he hurts the Knicks. So I'm finally convinced by them. What is the problem? Any player that hurts the team should be traded or cut. If Curry hurts the team cut him. What is the problem?

is that for me? I bolded and underlined where I did NOT BLAME him for the bad deal that got him here. All I said was the expectations were higher than a guy like OK4 because of what we paid for him and Isiah "once in a generation" comments. You keep saying I hate him. I dont. I'm just questioning his work ethic and effort on the court. At one point I turned to Silver last night after Curry had made some great athletic moves and "thats what drives you crazy about him being fat. You can see he's ooozing with skill and atlheticism."

Camby makes $7.8mm
Brad Miller makes $9.6mm
Okur makes $8.2
Big Z makes $9.4

Some of the quite steals in the NBA
Zaza Pachula $4mm a year
Diop $2mm a year
Tony Battie $5.7mm a year

The smart thing to do would have been something like the bottom 3 guys. Thats just good business. Diop (2 blocks) was the guy was pining for. Instead we got Jerome James $5mm, 5 year deal AND Eddy $9mm 6 years, 2 picks and Sweetney.

But Isiah did that because of the "Dolan mandate" so he went out and overspent to get players that would translate into winning now. When Eddy became available thats where he went.

You named 6 centers out of a 30 team league. Do you really think Z and Brad Miller are better at this point? They are both paid more but better? Thats debateable.

You can keep saying we gave up 2 number one picks but that doesnt make it true. We gave up a 2006 #1 and an option to swap. There is a huge difference.

Zaza is a good buy at 4mill

Diop is a role player who doesnt start

Curry dominated Battie in 2 games last season but if you want to trade Curry for Battie Ieven up I'm sure the magic will say ok.

OK you convinced me. Trade Curry or cut him. His contract obviously makes us go over the $53 mill salary cap and we are a better team with out dominant post game than with one. Usually I would hate to give up on a guy who just turned 24 (2 weeks ago) but I know you wouldnt lead us wrong

These past wins have more to do with Steph and Craw playing exceptional basketball but another point for Eddy.
