That's okay Joe. We know you love Sweetney.

I think that's what you meant to say.

LOL.................

I didn't say anything about the pick we gave up being irrelevant. That trade isn't even complete yet. That's all Im saying.

On Real GM in the last day we have had 5 posters from toronto and detroit raving about Currys play and progress.
I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

how do you trade for 2 lottery picks when you have no way of knowing for sure who will be in the lottery ahead of time?

All I said was people weren't as upset about giving up Sweetney as about giving up the picks.

there were a fair share of those who felt giving up Sweetney for Curry alone was too much of a price to pay... some were pre-determined to be down on Eddy Curry before he ever became a NY Knick.

All I can say is that Curry for Sweetney, Thomas, and TT looks like a fair trade. If we somehow make the playoffs and don't give up a lottery pick, then I would say that the trade was even at worst. God forbid, Curry learns how to play defense. We would then become the clear winner.

Dont let DJ fool you. Somwehere down deep he is a Curry man. :)
Look folks Curry didnt make the trade. It was Isiah and other than a huge swap I can live with Curry for Tyrus Thomas and Sweets very easily. Isiah didnt even have to give the swap. Pax wanted Ariza and Isiah declined. If the trade was Curry for Thomas, Sweets and Ariza would anyone not think it was a very good trade?

I guess people are changing there attitudes about Curry slowly. I think he is a force on the offensive end, but his rebounding needs to be consistant.

as long as Chicago doesn't get Greg Oden because of the Knicks' swap, i think Isiah made a good trade to get Eddy Curry... just MHO... all these people whining about losing out on Tyrus Thomas & his 4 & 3 in 11 mpg while ignoring what Eddy's doing right now make me scratch my head... how long has it been since we've had a young player give us 20+ over such a long stretch of games, particularly out of the low post? plenty of other teams would love to have a young C showing such promise.

I didn't hear that before but if that's true, Isiah made a terrible choice.

In comparison to how I usually feel about the Knicks, I feel somewhere between friggin' awesome and totally sweet about the way that Curry is playing.

Feels about the same as when Nate was winning games for us during a stretch last year and when David Lee knocks down jumpers now. If you feel bad about Curry today, then you haven't been watching this team for the past five years.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)
