I really don't get this thread. Obviously the racist stuff needs to be cut down, but little jokes will naturally be thrown out, now and then. Just gotto take it with a grain of salt.

Other than that, I don't get where this thread is going. I think a number of the threads need to be locked b/c this UK mafia crap is childish.

Or they will be thrown out constantly by the same usual suspects, whom I define as the UK Mafia. It will take a salt mine.

Back to the original post. I agree with both points, but I do not think this board is getting out of hand. I do think there is an abundance of people that can't take a joke though.

What I find more in abundance than any of the complaints listed on the board are the people that go post to post trying to determine if it's positive or not. And if it's not positive they call you names. some of those very people are whining on this very post. I think that has ruined more threads than racism or any other topic you want to throw out there.

I don't care about the arguments. I don't care if it gets heated. I can do that and have no hard feelings. What I care about is the constant broaching of insult. And frankly, I wish you would do something about it, and I have to wonder why you don't, I mean it is in the rules! Not just for me, I can take care of myself, but it seems that there is so little basketball talked about these days!

I don't mean to cast something on you that isn't real, but it looks to me that you would have to settle down some of the oldest members and you seem reluctant.

The advice you just gave me, why don't you tell some of these other guys publicly that they need to stop insulting everyone who does not agree with them? That banding together against people (Not just me) is not a way to have a community? And that if they enter a thread, they should not be there just to needle people but to say something, give their opinion?

Maybe you are not seeing what I am seeing, but I am pretty sure others are, and again, I have to wonder why you aren't taking steps to quell that action, especially when it comes to simrud.

I mean this in the sincerest way.

Yes, as I Recall, you told me to not read or respond to your threads and I in return commanded you not to read mine. Think back Evil, do you remember a few weeks ago when I was arguing with Joe and you just jumped in to instigate with me? Did something similar to that happen this weekend or did I come after you? Who started in with the you disappear stuff? Who came after who Evil?

Now you have stepped up with insults and more above. You just piled on with the rest of the usual suspects. At the very least why not deal with me man to man, not your posse Vs. Me?

I guess it is very easy to excuse yourself, but perhaps it might be more helpful to examine your behavior.

Now you may go ahead and insult me as much as you please if it makes you feel better.
