I'd like to see where exactly you can point to evidence that suggests such a notion. From what I've seen when Marbury seems to put forth the effort he can do pretty much the same things he has done in the past.

He's just not doing it. Do I claim to know why? No, because I'm a fan. I can speculate, but I know that I have just as little insight into why he isn't scoring now as the rest of us.

But I won't be waiting for the day when many of us start to be a bit more balanced with our perspectives.

You seem bitter, Pres.

I base it on a lessened foot speed - he doesn't blow by guys like he used to, he requires more picks to free himself, his crossover isn't as deceptive as he used to be, his lift is diminished, his shot gets blocked more, etc - and increasing complaints of knee tendonitis.

What, you've never seen a guy lose half a step?

I used to respond to these threads all the time. But now, I just read it and realize that some of you have an emotional attachmeent to the guy and it colors your thinking. NO different than LB getting $40 million because you wanted him to get it. Steph has played mediocre, there is no denying that. But I've seen this from him before for short stretches. He's the least of our concerns on the team.

In the words of Mobb Deep "SHOOKBURY" is Done Sons. He doesn't care anymore, I think he knows this league has passed him by and basically the tenure on this contract he has, when expired...... means retirement for him. He's a Monumental Failure that's Won In Life THE END!
