David Lee plays no defense...Steals?...Here is what I want from a starting power forward...Someone who can play a post game..Defend in the post that means playing guys like KG, Dirk and Duncan...Block a few shot when a player escapes our point guards...Knock down a few outside shots when our center is being doubled in the post...I like Lee but don't try to extrapolate his skills..He has trouble creating his own shot...90 percent of his baskets is off good interior passes that usually results in dunks...What does right now mean...Only posters here would take Lee over Frye...Lee is a role player....A very good role player right now, but lets not get confused on what it takes to win championships....

holfresh... hustle is part of talent. These are all just labels and words people throw around. I dont get excited about "talent" when I see lazy work habits and fat bodies. If Frye and Curry are more talented than Lee why is Lee among the league leaders in rebounds? Why doesnt Lee turn the ball over in bundles? Why is Lee's FG% among the best?

Honestly if you watched the game last night, than you should be able to see that Lee was the difference maker along with the zone defense. I don't understand how you can say that the game was won because of Curry or Frye, when the game was won due to ball movement, which was initiated and controlled by Lee from the high post.

Curry did not even have that good of a game. He got a bunch of garbage buckets, and finished off of moving in motion. He still had several balls go right through his hands and was stripped the usual number of times.

The game was won because of Lee's distributing the ball and making sure the Knicks run their sets in their entirety, down to the last option. That and the zone which totally shut Boston down.

Lee's points come mostly from offensive rebounds, tip ins and such.. not people passing him the ball... but whatever - Lee is more than a role player imo... Frye is not even that yet.. Im not saying who will be better in the future.. thats TBD... but as of now.. DLEE is our best player, its that simple.. if i had to pick one player to give 40mpg on this team it would be DLEE

^i was also sayin hes more than a roll player... i think hes awesome.. in efficiancy per 48 minutes the dude is on par with ****in Garnett.. Look it up, people need to start realising who is making this team run right now.

You want someone that plays in the post? Channing get in foul trouble every game, and he cant rebound like Lee. If Frye is a good defender why is Lee wrestling with Ming and other post and Frye plays on the perimeter and has shot like 8 free throws thw whole year. I get so tired of energy player, he plays hard and competes you cant say that for a lot of people on the Knicks team. Frye is more talented than David but Lee is playing better than him right now and that is a fact. He finishes games and that is what matters. I love Channing but he plays like a european and the only thing he does better than David is shoot the ball.

AM I missing something Lee has guarded Duncan, and Ming and Frye hasnt got near them. You talk about how Lee gets his shots, is that better than shooting 38% from the outside and not being able to put the ball on the ground at all. Lee can at least pass and make the game easier for some people. Channing is a jump shooter if that is what you want then you have a very good one. If you want someone that doesnt need shots will rebounnd and make a decent pass once in a while you take Lee. Lee is playing in the game when it matters the 4th quarter would love to see his stats vs Frye in the 4th quarter

David Lee is 2-3 times the overall basketball player than Channing is--take that toi the bank. Lee imho is the new Knick leader/semi-franchise player.

what is the point of separating the individuals like that?

its just a statement on how they have performed so far. its how it is. People say channing is more talented than Lee i dont think thats true... unless the word Talent = better shooter.

I hope they both become GREAT players im jus sayin right now, Lee is better. And the best player on this team, right now - by far.

wtf kind of question is that - I wish he was maybe the 3rd best player... Then maybe we'd be talkin about championship instead of preying for an 8th seed
