I my book, the thug Knicks got beat by the refs in 1 series against the Bulls.

Charles Smith? Is that what you are referring to?

The team before that, with Mark Jackson and X were the only Knicks team to ever take the Bulls to seven (With MJ).

after Isiah drafted Balkman, the move to make was to sign Reggie Evans to the MLE, especially if the plan was to buy out Mo T... i like Jared Jefferies as a player, but we have a glut of swingmen now & not enough bangers up front.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

That would mean no Jeffries? With Frye and Lee at PF and no decent starters at SF, I'd take Jeffries over Reggie. Too bad we don't have two MLEs!

Lee is not the banger that Reggie is... he's more of a tweener F... we need a bruiser up front to complement Eddy's lack of rebounding & Frye's finesse game & to guard the opposing low post scorers... Lee's a good defensive rebounder, but can't bang down low or defend the low post that well, & we all know that Curry & Frye are poor defenders... Jefferies is a nice player, but w/Q Rich, Balkman & Jalen, he's less of a necessity.

If it's the latter, than I'll take jefferies over one dimensional [insert hacker here]

JJ1 is a banger in the evans mold. IMHO.
