Well, at the same time, you won't see Earl Clark in, Paul Miller, etc, when it is a close game. The Celtics started to go on a major run when we put those guys in.
Either way, the rotation as a whole isn't playing well anyway. They look like they don't know what they want to do on offense and the defense has been bad.
Btw, good call Briggs on Rondo. I remember you hyping him up a year or two ago. I've been watching the Celts preseason games and he has looked real good.
We need to start Lee at SF until Jeffries comes back. Rose, even for 15 minutes a game, will get torched as he showed in the 1st quarter. We already knew that anyway.

You can't have it both ways because when the Knicks were winning the other games playing against other teams scrubs and main players out with inury no one would really acknowledge this. Also those 2 guys played 4 and 5min respectively and can't be held responsible as to why the Celtics built a 27pt halftime lead. Shouldn't the Knicks be a little more comfortable in Zeke's new offense that gives them more freedom. Why is there confusion, this offense is so much better for them. I'm not suprised at all with the results from this game it's pretty much what I expected.

Well, I never make a big deal about preseason games so you are talking to the wrong person about that.
Thing is, you can't just look at it one way. Yes, the Celtics have Pierce in this game. However, we don't have Francis. We played our scrubs in the first quarter, they didn't.
I'm not making excuses or anything, just saying that you have to consider all factors if you want to play that game.
I've seen a bunch of things that I haven't liked tonight, but in that last Celtics-Knicks game I saw a lot of things that I liked. With that said, I don't get too positive/negative because it is preseason. You can't place too much importance on preseason.
"This is a very cautious situation that we're in. You have to be conservative in terms of using your assets and using them wisely. We're building for the future." - Zeke (I guess not protecting a first round pick is being conservative)
