anyway I think people are blowing this out of proportion. Curry getting winded on the first day of camp during suicides, isnt particularly a cuase for concern. Im thinking there are plenty of starting centers in the league that would have had difficulty finishing as well, but they arent as under the microscope as curry is. At least curry has the right attitude. in my mind it could be worse, regarding this particular situation. anyway his vitality should improve, before the season starts. Ill only become as upset as some of you guys are when it becomes apparent that he cant average 30 mpg this season.

there is a difference between winded and this...

He eventually needed Quentin Richardson and David Lee to pull him along.

I dont know if people are this gullable that they fall for anything NY papers write, this ignorant of what suicides are for, or just want to hate on a guy regardless of what he does.
I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

No matter what the purpose of the drill is, Curry being behind the other smaller guys isn't that shocking. He should be able to get in better condition as the camp moves along. At least Curry knows where he's really at in terms of conditioning. The guy was working out all summer with a noted fitness coach as well as others, but there's a difference when it comes to doing suicides or any other drill that is designed to push you to the limit.

Let's just hope he can get in game shape and not hurt himself doing it. Being in better shape than last year should at least help in that regard.

Once again if we are using last year as a baseline for improvement we are doomed. Why are our standards so god-darn low???????????????????

I agree I think it is getting blown out of proportion. I think it started out with people cracking on Curry for not being able to finish and then turned into the positivity police coming out of the wood works. We won't know who is in shape until the games start.

I enjoy your posts, but I wish you would stop being so negative about the negativity police. Also, I wish the negativity police would stop being so negative about you being so negative about the negativity police.

Then maybe we could start to negate some of the negativity around here.

I'm with the pessimists, I find it I guess ironic to hear he's in shape and then read about him struggling to run wind sprints. It's almost humourous. It's as funny as the JJ injury.

Again my take is simple. I will wait and see. My hope was just that after last year with us struggling so much that guys would up their level and come into camp in the best shape of their lives. I thought the motivation would push them over the top. But instead we are using last year as the baseline and as long as the guys do things better than last year than everything is great. It's a nice start to be better than a 23 win season I guess

Again I have no problem with guys showing up for camp on time instead of early. That's 100% fine. Not bashing anyone for not showing up early. I have no problem with guys struggling through wind sprints. This happens on every team. Not going to bash a 300 lb. center for still being out of shape. He's big and it takes more effort to be in shape. But a truly motivated team would be early and would finish all the sprints. That should be our standard. Not being better than last year.

What really happened is he was on the shoulders of David the way down and Q on the way back to finish the sprints. If he rebounds and plays hard i dont care if he runs a sprint all year long.

I'd like to see Lee or Q try to pull Curry! What does he even mean by that? Did they put Curry in a cart and then attach a string and pull the string? Sounds bizarre!

Three additional "suicides" were added because free agent Nikoloz Tskitishvili, a player without a guaranteed contract, suffered the misfortune of having his cell phone ring in the locker room while Thomas was addressing the team on Monday.

Curry ought to jump Tsitishvili after practice and beat his ass.

A week from now they will change it to Q and Lee carried Curry the whole way.

After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

If Jared wouldnt have clanked 3 free throws then EC wouldnt have had to run the suicides lol. Curry has to be more intense that is on him.

I will respond to my own post to save others time. Bip, shut up you pessimsit bastard. Stop the jokes. There is no fun here. You sleepin' on Curry. He's not fat. He's shown throughout his career that he is thin. Anyone that stands next to LB will look fat. He gonna be killin' this year. Knicks 2006 baby, woohoooooo.

Guys like you are ridiculous. Instead of having the motivation to actually FIND AND READ THESE articles you wait for people to spoon feed them to you, and then when they don't agree with your opinion you accuse the people who post the article of doctoring it? What I took is straight from the article. Take off the training wheels and find it yourself.

Some of us on this board have a certain integrity on what is posted (since you seem so free to just throw out accusations of doctoring artcles, you do not seem to be one of them). Believe whatever you want bro. DOn't accuse me of doctoring an article again, that is plain kindergarten ****.

*Martin maybe that ignore feature isn't that bad so Sugar here can ignore me so I don't have to actually read his responses to my "doctored" articles.

Holy geez. We need the season to start, I think its disgusting that Curry is not in shape and he should be fined for every pound over 285 that he is, but we need better things to argue about. Seriously.

I agree; it's disgusting. We saw in those pictures that he looks the exact same as he did last season.
