I can't believe Jamal got up to 10! To me, he's just been an underachiever his whole career who's shown some nice stretches from time to time.

also, I'm loving a future trifecta of DLee, Frye and Crawford. Even if curry isn't 20/10, I'll take the three headed front court of lee, curry and frye putting up 50/25.
curry - 18/7
lee - 12/10
frye - 20/8

10 boards for lee is a bold prediction, but extremely possible if given the time to put in the dirty work on the boards for frye and curry.

I'll take the three headed front court of lee, curry and frye putting up 50/25.

50/25????? Last year they put up 31/16. You're expecting the combo to gain another 19 pts and 9 rebs? That's major kool aid.

there is some logic...
MoT and Jackie B put up a combined 11/6.
Curry was a 14/6 last year, so expecting him to get two more buckets and ONE more rebound isnt' asking too much.
Frye was 12/6, so taking another look at that, maybe it's a bit of a stretch to expect him to put up 20/8, but hey a man can dream...so, let's just say he also get 2 more buckets and creep up to 16/7.

But he had some monster 30 point games in a row, so it's not too much of a stretch, considering my kool aid addiction, to say he breaks out and becomes a superstar...but, I'll temper my enthusiasm and stay real.

So, we're up to 35/16 approximately.

Then there is lee.

Last year in 17 minutes a game (that's 17 minutes a game) he put up 5/5. I expect that to double for sure. 10/10.

45/26.

Then there is the matter of JackieB and MoT's 11/6 still out there, but ofcourse, it's already been gobbled up...so I'm going to say the triplets improve easily 14/10.

And if we only won 23 games with them putting up 31/16, then I'm happy going with 45/22.

In my mind, with the new system and additional year under their belts, no worries.

Sorry, hope I didn't mess up the elimination thread with my humble opinion.

EDIT: oh, and malik put up 4/4, but he still may contribute.

I just find it hard to believe that Malik can bust his asse on the court for us and Jerome can drink beers, come in out of shape and ask out of games 2 minutes in and somehow people pick JJ. This goes back to prove that once again Bip is the smartest man alive. Knick fans are settling. If this guy was on our team in the early 90's he would be boo'd out of town. Now it's not that big a deal that he shows up out of shape and doesn't try. No biggie. Man, what has happened to us??????????

everyone seems to hate malik...and, I didn't like him because of what he did the year of the knick run, but maybe it was LB telling him to be something he's not, or he believes he is a scorer, I can really see why he is a number of people's least favorite.

I mean, he took minutes away from a majority's most favorite (though, he didn't play that much actually) but he did put up some Fugly shots and make some costly turnovers.

Jerome is funny. He drinks on new year's and LB hated him...all great reason for him NOT to be your least favorite.

I guess. I guess I just leave personality out of it. I like players for how they are on the court. Malik didn't play well, but at least he played. At least he tries. At least he gives an effort. Not sure why people would single him out when the whole team won 23 games. They all played bad. So I guess to me that would be a reason to not like any of them. So instead of doing that I narrow it down to who actually gave an effort. I love players that give it their all. And I hate players that collect money and could give to flying f's whether their team wins or not. To me JJ, showed up, took money out of our pockets, ate some food and had a good asse time laughing at us. That's why I demand that everyone change their votes to match mine. This is not a democracy it is a dictation

Although I agree with RV...this was a good post Bip.

and someone on the first page asked who gave Nate a neg point....that was me. I love the kids energy and hustle...but to me all he is a shorter version of Crawford...and I would care less if he got traded tomorrow
