I do agree that choosing Steve and Barry was odd. Still where else was he gonna find a retailer that was down to market a sneaker with a retail price of 15 American dollars? Right off the bat the gap, footlocker, champs, atheletes foot, old navy, sketchers? I think Steve and barrys is probably the only one that would have been down. From what I understand, their purpose is to provide clothing for the below poverty level college students, lol. I guess its safe marbs probably tried and Steve and Barry was down.

Steve and Barry's are primarily located in affluent suburban markets.

There's a Steve and Barry's up by me, it's located in a mall roughly that is a roughly 10 or 15 minute bus ride from Buffalo. Up here the location is hardly affluent but it is sort of suburban(in the way that Yonkers is a suburb of the city-it's classified as a suburb but not really).

I know it's only one example from me but a store in the middle of Manhatten and in te area where I am talking about (alot of minorities and people from the city of Buffalo go there) seems to fit the target Marbury is looking for.
