Not sure what the purpose of Jackson would be. He wouldn't play here.

Not right now but honestly do the Knicks have a 2guard? Players like Francis, QRich, Crawford are not the answer at 2guard. It's time to start building and building for the future, Isiah has already gotten some pieces, whats wrong with adding another?

We don't have a pure PG or a pure SG. That isn't to say that we don't have players who can still be extremely effective. We already know they can score. The question has always been can they defend. I don't think they'll ever be great and obviously neither does Isiah or else he wouldn't have brought in guys who are known more for their D, in Jared, Balkman & Collins. With the addition of QRich, we have enough defensive replacements to be able to offset our offense heavy guard lineup.

But what I'm saying is why have to worry about players that can either only defend or only score. I honestly think Luke Jackson can do both very effectively which also helps clear the glut at that position because you only have 1 guy instead of 2 guys being 1 complete player. I guess I'm the only one that sees it though.

If you clear Stevie "Franchise"(someone has got to explain where this nickname came from) and Q and left it at Marbs, Jamal and Nate then I can see bringing in a young guy with potential. But just signing him and keeping these guys is not really committing to youth. It's putting youth on your roster, selling to the media and fans how young we are getting, not creating space for them and then letting them go as soon as they become free agents because we don't want to spend money. I understand the logic of moves like this NYK4ever, but with our roster currently constructed it's just a waste of time. We'd be better off filling that spot with a SF that is a proven shooter or a front court player that can guard the post and grab a lot of rebounds.
I just hope that people will like me

Yeah, I know what you mean about having TOO many guys on the roster that play one position. This is what kills me about the Francis trade, it has really handcuffed the Knicks for the next 3 years. I really think a guy like Luke can be the guy the Knicks are looking for at the 2guard, I just hope theres a way that Isiah can move Francis so the spot can be opened for a guy that is a REAL 2guard.
