This is the type of thing I'm trying to get you all to look at, it wasn't mohammed for Malik Rose, it was rose, lee and collins.
same with Jrose and MoT.
moves that would only impact us for 2 years...has to be about that time because isiah has only been on the job for TWO and a HALF years.
in his first year he acquired an all star PG in marbury. Amassed first round picks that have turned into a starting 5. The two moves of his second year that everyone hated, Mot and mrose are gone or will have already paid for themselves THIS YEAR.
He signed Jerome James for the MLE, which if you look around the league there was maybe 1 or 2 signings that summer that were of better value that actually paid off for the team.
To hook your UKHC membership on the Jerome James signing is rubbish.
He is one mistake among a littany of good moves towards the future of the knicks and contending. Has every move been the "greatest GM move of all time" nope. But have they ALL been the "worst GM moves of all time" nope.
How can you not put more hope in Lee, Frye, Curry, Marbury and Crawford, then you placed in McDyse and the gimpy supporting cast?
It just doesn't make any sense...Jerome played 10 minutes a game last year, he gives us 10 minutes a game this year, then that's AWESOME...because we know, unlike LB, zeke isn't playing jerome just to make him look like a fool, he's playing him to help us win games.
Block shots, clog the lane and hard foul.
He had one year in NYC and it's as if he's already shown that it was a wasted situation...I mean, if you gave Jerome half the benefit of the doubt in his ONLY ****ty year in new york as you give LB, you'd be a whole lot happier.Posted by joec32033:

The reason we didn't have a center was because Isiah traded Mohammed for Malik Rose. I am not sure why he had to have Malik so badly. Remember he almost traded KT for him also.
He traded Nazr for Malik Rose, David Lee, and Mardy Collins. Remember we got two first round picks from them.
