Forget the 3 guard rotation, after seeing Diaw man the center for Phoenix we'd field a 5 guard rotation, all of combo guards.

Steph, Stevie, Jamal, Nate and Baron.

We'd create some matchup problems... And "shot blocking is overrated"... so why not?

And if someone goes down we'd still have Q and Collins to back them up.

Do it Zeke.... DO IT!!!

Not from what I remember when he was drafted and through his first season. During the second season yes, some got down on him. Then he was traded, and some said he wasn't all that great. Now we draft Balkman and Ariza is garbage. We also have Curry, so therefore Tim Duncan is garbage.

yeah the fact that he didn't improve his handle, jumpshot, free throw shooting, or overall court awareness had nothing to do with it.

You know what, I actually kind of agree with you on this point. I thought Ariza did well and wasn't really given that much of an opportunity his second season. I mean we started the season with Matt Barnes over him, for godsakes. I don't think that was justified.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

All I can say is this....Ariza looked REAL good in SL last year. Didn't really improve any weakness, but did look exceptionally well. The fact that we went with Matt Barnes last season tells me there had to be something behind the scenes we didn't see-be it his attitude(he did seem alot ****ier at the begining of last year). I don't know what it was, but I would think that Ariza would have gotten off to a better start if something with him didn't turn LB off from him. I mean we ALL thought this was a player LB would LOVE.
