I have to go with Mo Taylor. I don't see him wanting to play hard this season. At the end of last season he made a comment to the effect that he only value was as a contract to be moved.

Depending on his health, Q. Too many guards.

How healthy does he have to be for you to keep him? I think an unhealthy Q can play better PF(?!?!??) than a healthy Malik Rose... and I don't think Q has ever been slotted as a PF. Down with Malik...

I forgot about M Rose.

You're right, ax him.

Cut Balkman, sign Udoka to a three year extension. Go Knicks!

I know you are being facetious, but this is, what, three sarcastic responses in a row... some might start to think this is what you beleive...

Me? Sarcastic? Never.

OK. Honest response, if money didn't factor in, I'd go with Mo Taylor. He gets the nod over Malik Rose, because at least Malik is a good clubhouse presence.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Mo Taylor has a better post game. So cut Malik and let him hang around the clubhouse, like JYD. Make him personnel. Malik stinks... my dump Malik campaign marches forward.

i gotta go with francis. no doubt. marbs at least can play 2 positions, and if we loose francis we can start a REAL point in his place and slide marbs over. (steph can actually hit the open three) they would actually be interchangable if it were crawford. nate is a baller! 'F' a novelty, that kid is a baller! you would think he would get abused being 5'9 and a rookie, but he did'nt. what BRIGGS means by heart is he has the drive, and competitiveness to want to win. couple that with his athletisism, defense and shooting ability, and like i said, he's a baller!

Not consistently, at least not recently. Marbs shot .317 from behind the arc for 33 total 3's. Francis shot .301 for 25 total 3's. Neither were particulary good behind the arc.

Hey, I love Nate, but you can't say he has particularly good defense or good shot selection. As I put in my earlier post, he is athletic and I love his 'moxie', but he needs to take his game to a different level if he is going to make it in this league. He needs Speedy Claxton type defense with the steals and better assist numbers. There is no chance he will be truly competitive as a 5'7 shooting guard. At that position, he is nothing more than a novelty who the fans will cheer for as he dunks on fast breaks, but gets thrown down hard if he tries to test any players with either defensive capabilities or pride.

If I could cut any player for an open roster spot it would be JJ. The most realistic choice is Malik Rose. Won't cost them as much.

Cutting James doesn't really affect our bottom line or our talent level. I think trimming the fat in the backcourt is most important at this point. Not enough minutes to go around. Someone is going to be complaining about their role. Someone is going to be in Isiah's dog house for wanting minutes that they probably have earned. We need more role players.
I just hope that people will like me

Bip, I agree with you and it's so easy to see from even 10 miles away. I guarantee you that 1 or more of Francis, Marbury, Rose and even Nate will be complaining about diminished roles. Something has to be done, and cutting one PLUS trading another for maybe a shotblocker is totally in the best interests of the team.

I hated the way Marbury and Francis worked together.
