I am absolutely down with the sign and trade idea. By saying 4 teams are interested in Jackie, Keith Glass just gave Zeke some leverage to use if they give an offer and he matches.

...that's the stranger thing. Isiah already made a qualifiying offer to Bulter and can already match any offer given to Butler. So all this talk between agent and GM is for nothing. I think.

Agents know Isiah goes higher when he bids against himself.

That would hurt alot less if it wasn't the truth.

obviously, the agent must be fibbing, or they're trying to get the knicks to drive their offer up

I don't think Keith learned anything from his pop. Why do this when, in all honesty, the Knicks have a better replacement on the S/L team in Adeleke? He'll do everything Butler does plus he is a good scorer (he averaged 20 and 13 in his senior year).

Word to Keith-You can only use hardball tactics when YOU have the upper hand!

I thought the Knicks needed to lose one player anyway, because they were already loaded with 16, one over the limit.
I'll never trust this' team again.

a resigned butler, with crawford to seatlle for chris wilcox.......

oh, interesting. I would do it in a second. I bet Seattle would want Nate too. I would throw him in if we got an extra first rounder.

I like that move also.
I'll never trust this' team again.

how much is Dolan willing to spend on the 3rd string 5?

He's spending $5mm per year for the third string 5.

I'm sorry....Jackie Butler is a poor man's Moses Malone???? The same Moses Malone who dominated the ABA/NBA for a good portion of his 20 year career. Wow, that might be the silliest thing I've read on this site. Come on Briggs, you're smarter than that.

If you want to compare him to somebody in that era, I'm thinking Clemon Johnson or Eddie Lee Wilkins.

No, I think Jackie Butler can be a poor man's Moses Malone. You look at their builds, very similar. Long arms, thick strong body--not of the weightlifting genre, but rather what they were born with. Now Im not calling him a Moses clone, Im calling him a player who resembles Moses in some ways and has the capability to be a poor mans Moses--a guy who can put up 13-14 points, get 8-9 rebounds+ be a force at times in his prime. Thats my opinion. I think we should keep JB, i think we will regret losing him for nothing---at the very least --we should get a draft pick back for him. Cant let him go for nothing.

RIP Crushalot😞
