Holfresh. How do you still not understand this. This team is made up of players that have been career losers everyplace they've been aside from Malik Rose. These players have been run out of town with other teams with no results to show for it. If you want to say that Larry Brown has been run out of town then fine, but atleast he has something to show for it while he's been with the teams. I don't understand why you think that this team is somehow all the sudden going to shed their losing ways and start playing for Isiah Thomas. Why would these players do that? This is why I want Brown here, if he's here then that means that this collection of glorified losers is gone and that is what this organization needs.

Bro, of 30 teams in the NBA, only one wins, all the others are losers...Humor me...lets say we do this...Let build a team with Malik Rose,Brent Barry, Deaven George,Robert Horry and Sam Casell...Does this make them a championship team...All these guys have rings???

Do you think Malik Rose is better than Elton Brand because he has a ring??..Would you prefer Malik at your PF becasue he won before???

What does that have to do with anything. Where did I say that only players that have won championships are players that I want. See this is whats wrong with you, you someone with a certains position on a subject matter and you immediately base all of your arguments on that position. The only thing I mentioned was that the players were career losers, I never said anything about wanting to bring players that have only won championships. Your putting words in my mouth that aren't there.

I said that players like Marbury and Francis have done nothing in their careers and not only have they done nothing they've been known team cancers. How can having 2 cancers on one roster be a positive thing? Brown won't accept that and I feel he has good reason.

By the way. If you threw a team of Cassel, Horry, Rose, George with Eddy Curry, Channing Frye and David Lee I think you got a pretty decent team right there. Like it or not those guys know how to win and thats a factor just like scoring 20pts and recording 8 assists is.

Dude, the fact that these guys have made it to the NBA and are playing at this level makes them all winners...Career losers? These guys have been successful at every level...You are still making excuse for this past season...This is a better than a 23 win team....This past season was about the coach not adapting or not wanting to adapt...He has his own agenda...Trust me, I am a Knick fan more than anything else...More than love for players, coaches and GM...This year it was up to Brown to build cohesion, playing the new core together, he didn't do that..He had his own thing going...Because of that, we are not too sure what Isiah brought in...Much as I would love to judge him, i can't...I don't know if Curry can play with a 5th or 6 th foul...I don't know if the new Craw can play well next to Steph...I don't know if Steph and Frye can run the pick and roll the way he did with KVH and Doleac...I don't know if Fyre and Curry can be a threat up front when they learn to play together...bro there are many questions unanswered this past season becasue Brown had his own agenda...Now you think we should let him back to run this team again....amazing...Somehow he will be different this year...

Dolan has been one of the most patient owners in sports in the moderm era...What would cause him to run a prized coach like Larry Brown out of town..Surely he must know that if anyone can turn this around, it's Larry Brown..What could have go wrong for him to want to eat 40 mil just to get rid of this guy?

Guys, winning is done in stages...You are not going from a 23 win team to a 70 win team...

Unless you replace Marbury with Kidd or Nash...

The stages the Knicks have been traveling through have beem: Good to average to mediocre to bad to horrible. Obviously that's Larry Brown's fault.

It's gotten so bad here in NY that even when guys who helped us to finals speak up we tell them to shut up and leave our 23 win roster alone.

At some poitn in order to win you have to listen to guys who understand what it takes to win. You don't have to trade all the guys on this roster who haven't won, but you do have to take the power away from them. And for that to happen a coach has to stage a coup. Until that happens we will continue to lose, wonder why, fire coach's and write posts dreaming of Lebron. If we do it the way we've been doing it, luck is the only way we are ever going to win.

Most pateient? 5 coaches in 2.5 years? in 7 years, 3 GM's?

Why run Larry out? Money! Cuz to do it right you have to admit your mistakes and move forward. Isiah really phuched this one up and maybe they are right. To do it right and get larry what he wants, it would cost too much. But when does it end?

"Zeke" (code word for Isiah suck up) is a lose cannon and messed up bad.

dolan should set his financial constraints an stick to a plan. Isiah works within those parameters. It seems Isiah sweet talks Dolan into all kind of things. This teams a disaster becasue of the players make up. THe veterans save Malik are a collection by disaster.

Larry is just yet another symptom of a system gone wrong. Very wrong.

ward response to steph was pretty cool:

"Everyone wanted a superstar point guard while I was here," Ward said. "They've got a big name now and they're dealing with the consequences."

That quote holds no weight because Ward played with Ewing, LJ, Camby, Houston etc. Put Marbury on that team and they would still win. The same can't be said if Ward ran the point for this current group.

Put Marbury on that team and either Oakley or Ewing would kill him. Put Ward on this team and they win more then 23 - because Ward would help hold the team together not tear it apart. Marbs has been a loser. Is a loser and will end his career as a loser.

I think that one was fired across my bow....Now I heard it all...To regain power, a coach has to stage a coup...I also heard it's hard out here for a pimp....Fire a coach and dream about LeBron....hehehehe...funny stuff...

Dolan doesn't want anyone to rock the boat. Layden didn't rock the boat, Isiah didn't rock the boat - the fact that they did a horrible job didn't matter. Larry - rocked the boat.

Charlie Ward is the truth. You all know the truth hurts sometimes. Knicks sucked and next year won't be no different unless the current team sing Kumbaya and start getting back to fundamentals and good ol teamwork.
Knicks are happening and have a Unicorn.

Holfresh: Once again you haven't been posting with me long enough to understand that I have been saying the same stuff since Chaney was coach. This is all new to you. But for me it's just more of the same thing we've been doing since 1999.

My mantra has been the same(Allanfan, Fish, TMS-anyone who's been posting with me I dare you to deny it). The Knicks will not win until they hire a proven winner and get behind him and let him run the show. NO proven winner is going to come here and do things Isiah's and James Dolan's way. Winner's like Parcells and Jackson etc come in and make changes. That's what winners do to a loser's program. That's what I did!!! We will not turn around until we allow this. And so far we have not done this and guess what we haven't turned around.
