Noooo to K Mart. I am sick of the starphucking. When are we ever going to learn? How about someone cheap, less talented, but with just as much heart, like Reggie Evans. Or if you really want a shotblocker and want to get someone expensive, why not go for Sam Dalembert? Why k Mart of all guys, who just had microfracture knee surgery? Haven't we learned from Allan Houston and Antonio McDyess, who is now just another 20 minute backup PF?

I think it's an anti-starphucking move if you're getting rid of Francis for a solid two-way player. Francis offers nothing we need and is a waste of a roster spot. If K-Mart duplicates last year, he'll play good defense and be a needed tough role player for 24 mpg.

Good post. Really.

Ya I agree.

I like a starting lineup next year of JC, Marbs, Jefferies, K-Mart, and Curry.

Why Marbs?

Simple ---

b/c they're not gonna trade him.

Francis I seriously think will be traded though. Smaller contract, less mileage, less baggage.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

K-mart is almost 30, overpaid and extremely injury prone. Where have I heard that before? McDyess anyone? He also just got suspended cause he doesnt practice but wants playing time!! We have to get more value for Francis. K-Mart cannot stay healthy. Please Zeke, SAY NO!!!

you want to get rid of Marbury...but want to bring in this guy.

if larry has issues with starbury, didnt bench him, no suspension, no disciplinry action whatsoever....but yet star has to go?

for k-mart?.....unreal

If you think Francis is hard to trade just wait until we get KMart and he gets injured again.

But then again I guess history likes to repeat itself... Houston, McDyess.

On top of all that doesn't anyone remember how annoying he was when he played against us as a Net?

I guess it's probably the same people that wouldn't mind having Kobe Bryant, Tim Hardaway, Zo, Reggie Miller, Kidd and other Knicks arch enemies on the team. Hitler was a brilliant general but would I want him in my army? No thank you.

yes, brilliant analogy there Stevo... comparing a racist dictator who committed mass genocide to talented NBA players who have proven to be worthy adversaries of the Knicks' franchise really illustrates your point effectively.

btw, a Knick fans' loyalty should lie first & foremost w/improving the organization, NOT w/focusing on silly grudges that you may have against a certain player for being a pain in the butt over the years playing on a different team... i would've embraced every one of those players you listed right there as Knicks w/open arms... it's about W's & L's with me, not about silly grudges... btw, u can add Michael Jordan to that list as well.

A-fan, anyone can say "get me this & get me that", but unless you can present a reasonably feasible plan to get what you're asking for, it's all just hot air... hey, i'd like the Knicks to go after Kobe Bryant & Dwight Howard too.

please TMS, all I'm saying is that we need a healthy shot blocker. We don't have one. K Mart is not healthy. You say you're plans are reasonable to get K Mart, but I flat out say getting K Mart for anyone isn't.

K Mart = damaged goods.

An outcast, he was not favored by his schoolmates and was not liked. His art was not as good as he thought it was and eventually other artists rejected him.

He was ineffective as a soldier in WWI and his team did not make the playoffs.

As the dictator he would rid himself of ineffective generals. Keith Van Horn and Kurt Von Thomas were effective but challanged the scowling dictator.

"Stepdolph HitlerBury"?

"Stevito FranAllini" joined up with Hitlerbury to form the failed "Axis Backcourt". While a more productive leader than his northern friend, he did not have the stats and was eventually was exiled when he failed.

The lesson is that Starphuching backcourts, like Starphuching Dictators rarely if ever can work together.
