based on this article I think a lot of people are speculating that whatever the cause of Brown's medical leave, he may not be back. I still think he will - provided Marbury goes. otherwise...

I don't care if the coach is Donald Duck, if this team gets placed back in the hands of Stephon Marbury and the rest of teh crew instead of the coach I will stab myself.

He really should be. How pathetic of Isiah not to back his coach while crappy little starbury runs his mouth like a fool. Isiah really is a slimey loser.

Anyway, with Herb Brown's comments in the Post today and the Frank Isola revelation that Brown can void his contract for "medical reasons" and still go coach anywhere else in the league, I gotta say THIS WAS NO FREAKIN COINCIDENCE. Hey, I'm sure the acid-reflux is 100% legit, I'm sure Larry Brown is miserable and stressed out with this season and Curry and Marbury and Isiah. But I think Brown is going to use this as his out if Isiah doesn't ditch Marbury. And, at this point, maybe he'll hold out for Isiah himself to be fired.

If LB leaves here, who the he-ll is going to come here and coach. I don't even think there is anyone on this site that would take that job. It's career suicide

If Brown leaves, we have to fire Isiah immediately and bring in Kiki and let him hand pick a coach and have full autonomy to do whatever.

Something like That seems like the only option. We would have to go star power in the fron office in order to con a competetent coach into coming here. I don't think Isiah has any chance of doing that on his own. LB and Zeke are tied to each other.

No WAY......If we got DD as a coach then Steph's excuses of "I didn't understand what the coach wanted me to do..." would actually hold water...unless we got Pluto to act as an interpreter...Or maybe Minnie Mouse, I hear Steph gets it on for them married chicks...Wazzup Kimora?

The Knicks said Brown had acid reflux, but he stunned the bosses on the day after the season when he said he merely had the flu, more evidence that he and the bosses were not on the same page.

so, the Brown "acid-reflux" event was at least partially fabricated. this guy is a scum-bag. people always talk about how smart joe dumars is? well dumars fired this lying, manipulative, grand-standing jerk.

maybe when the pistons win it all this year, people can stop acting like Brown worked a miracle in 2004. fire him.
