I've got another 1 for you

Larry's last 3 years

54-28
54-28
19-54

Steph's last 3 years

12-22 w/Phx 25-22 NY = 47-44
33-49
19-54

yeah, but Detroit won 50 games before Brown got there and they'll win 65+ this year without him. Detroit is a stacked team, you can't give Brown credit for the wins there.

Look at his record in Philadelphia, that's where he was doing similar lineup crap and dogging his best player. He's a good coach, but he's been extremely overrated because of the Detroit championship.

I'm not excusing Marbury, but I don't think you can say "Brown is right, let him lead the team." He's shown time and again he has no idea how to run a team's roster. Probably one of the reasons he did well in Detroit is that Joe Dumars had a very clear plan and didn't listen to Brown's BS and the owner was on Dumars' side.

LB has just as much skill and way more experience scouting talent than Isiah. With that being said, I don't want LB to have total autonomy. hire Kiki as GM. Let the two work together in turning this franchise around.

he only built programs at UCLA, KU...

he has people everywhere in the college landscape and follows th egame closely

while GM in Philly

drafted/traded for TT, Hughes, Dalembert, Snow, McKie, Ratliff, Speedy, Jumaine Jones - ALL TALENTED and he was able to construct a team around a 6' 0 160 lb shooting guard and take it to the ECF's.

I agree he doesn't get anywhere in Detroit if they don't get wallace and he only won or got to the championship the past two years because of injury

Nets up 3-2 and Kidd is so hobbled they lose, and the JO with the Pacers the next round
Last year Wade and Shaq injured and they lose in seven

thnx for the correction

and not taking anything from Dumars, but Larry Brown was the one who pushed and vouched for Wallace

He was also the one that traded Hughes before he became an al star defensive star, traded speedy before he an an impact, I would hardly put TT on your resume if I was LB,Ratliff was good..

But i think the job that Isiah has done in the draft over his career far surpasses LB's..

Speedy Claxton is/was/ever made a impact in the NBA?

Oh I wouldn't deny that. I like Speedy, it just seemed like you were stretching in trying to prove Mck1's point wrong by using Speedy Claxton as your example of a player that Brown cut loose. That's all.

well look this is how i see....how can anyone play with aggression after what has been going on this year...i want the knicks to get the worst record in franchise history and i want the roster revamped....brown acknowledged whos buying into his game and who isnt he already gave zeke the list...

as far as we know these are the ppl who bought into browns system
Crawford
Q-Rich
Q-Woods-said it himself in a recent article, wanted to thank brown for giving him the opportunity
Frye-said he knows coach wants him to be better
Lee-wants to develop his game the right way
M.Rose-played for poppa in san antonio
Francis-been playing like ****, but expressed the need for the team to be less selfish

so that leaves
Marbury-he's gone
J.Rose-gone
Curry-larry said he's da franchise center
James-buy him out please
Butler-keep him, solid backup
Nate-i love the kid,i want him to stay, bu ti dont think brown wants him
''We don't have the luxury to take anybody lightly,'' New York's Quentin Richardson said. ''We're not that good.''

After reading the title thread earlier today....I'm just threw with this. It's crazy. These are men.

I think we need to put a camera in the locker room and see who is wearing the sports bra. While we're at it they should check the players bags for tampons.

Everyone in the organization needs to be tasered.

I don't care who you are as a point gurad, you need players around you...no one point guard does it alone...You guys hold Steph to standards that no one else is held to...A point guard is only as good as his finishers...By the way, Q1 just missed another wide open 3 from the corner....

Bro, This is a guy(steph) who claims that he's the best pg in the NBA.. Do you really believe he's the best point guard in the NBA?? answer that question please..

You say he has no players around him, what are you talking about?? He has no leadership skills and cannot lead a team.. he is not your typical pg.. Always remember that your pg should not be your leading scorer on the team..

you can't win that way.. They suppose to orchestrate the offense, become a floor leader and make the players around them better..

look around the league with the best premier pg's: kidd, nash, rookie Chris paul, billups, andre miller.. they are not leading scorers for their team..

MArbury is a cancer!! He leaves phoenix and next yr they win the division with steve nash.. He leaves NJ then Kidd comes in and takes them to back to back NBA finals. He leaves minny and they win 50 games next yr with terrel brandon..

he'll be 29 or 30 next yr.. his clock is ticking.. he'll never be a complete player in this league..

Marbs is a talented point guard but not the best....It's doesn't hurt that those other point guard you mention outside of Chris Paul are playing next to two all-stars...All those other guard have players who score more than they do...You will never win if your point guard is your best player and the only guy that shows up on a nightly basis....Everyone can look like a great floor leader when they have people who are finishing plays for them....How do you think Marbs would look if Jefferson and Carter is finishing for him...A little different you have to admit....

my man, Marbs had stoudamire and shawn marion up in phoenix, the focal pt.on offense and same players Nash had. what are u talking about???? He(steph) had Kenyon, Van horn, kittles, kendall gill in NJ so what happened...

Kidd had them too with a rookie 6th man jefferson and took them to the finals.. In Minny, c'mon bro.. he had Garnett but couldn't get along with him and decided to bounce..

MArbury cannot make players around him better.. T. thomas played with marbury and wans't really effective, he goes to phoenix and is playing well with nash.. Qrich plays with Nash and had a career yr in 3 point shooting, he goes to the knicks and is having one of his worse yrs of his career..

MArbury is a jinx anywhere he goes.. let me and you bet $50.00 that when they trade starburied, the team will finish .500 or better while finally making the playoffs... If that's the case , what are you gonna say now??
