as long as you don't Isiah the draft picks, the tree of youth is replenishable.
Rather have guys learning from a Snow and Ratliff than a Crawford or Jerome James.
Bro, Ratliff right now is averaging 4.6 pts and 5.1 reb per game....Are you kidding me....I really think Jerome would do a better job....Jerome is a decent defender....But Larry will never play him..It's part of his plan to harpoon Isiah....
So Jerome James' career 5 & 3 average is a fluke

I would love to get younger instead of older, I think that is the path to LONG term success but its just not going to happen. Maybe they shouldve thought about this when they gave a 65 year old 50mm$ who just went to the finals.

Briggs - didn't Isiah Thomas get the Knicks younger?
>>Why is it when people bring up the bad about Isiah you always see Jerome James right after that...How about Curry, How about Marbs, How abt Frye, How about Lee, How abt Ariza,How about Nate,
holfresh - because that snake Isiah Thomas cannot be trusted to do what the amateur GMs WANT him to do.
Call on the great Larry Brown to fix the so-called "mess"... or to take all the credit over the man who set the process in motion, after the rookies gain experience, mature .... and the team congeals after a year of open auditions..
you do the math

Letting Brown have final say on trades is crazy. Who is he going to go after? Pick an upper level team and ask yourself if LB would have brought in half of their impact players.
How would Tony Parker fit in with Brown? How would Jason Terry fit in? Dirk? Wade? Carmello?
Would Larry have let these players develop the way they have? I doubt it. Now what does that say about how he's going to effect our young players?
Alan Hahn:
Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

JohnWallace - Brown gets propped up because too many people simply resent Isiah in a position of authority.
If one looks at the number of 25 and under players on the Knicks roster, and then takes a deep breath and imagines those same players with a full season together under the brightest spotlight in pro sports... how can one NOT be encoraged by the possibilities?
Contrary to what adjectives the press uses to sell papers with spicy headline, this franchise may have a sucky record, but it is not a mess.
Quite the contrary, by the time Houstons (and a few others) contract comes off the books, this franchise will be poised, toughened and READY to make a serious push to the ECF.
I plan to be there with a smile on my face.

true
as long as he puts out a starting lineup of barry white, al b sure, james ingram, and chico debarge, it's all gravy with me. and then we can rename the place the "secret garden".

Funny, once you get past the immediate pain of a silly losing streak without the best player, the possibility of better days for a roster comprised primarily of guys 25 and under doesn't seem to suck that bad.
