Not for anything but 3 guys you named out of that list Zeke HAS chased for years....Miles, Patterson, and Snow....Gooden he basically had for KT when the Cleveland GM backed out when Silas wanted KT bad....and he has Miles and Patterson in the bag supposedly if he adds a younger player to this trade.

Everyone wants KG and Snow and Ratliff are LB off shoots....

Each and every one of those guys you mentioned Zeke has definately chased...Other than Taylor, Rose, and Steph who the media knew nothing about because Zeke wasn't here long enough, just about EVERY guy that the media says Zeke chased is credible.

It's been well documented that LB would love to have Snow back in his hands. And it's well known that Isiah loves young, athletic, low IQ bball players. That has Darius Miles written all over it. I see no reason to believe Isiah has at least tried to go after him. It's been said, and I believe confirmed, that Isiah almost traded KT for Drew, which could have been OK.

Like I said, if it's a one night stand type of report, it's prolly a rumor or some BS, or something they got from here (I'm convinced they got that Dalembert for Marbury deal from my post). If it's ongoing though, there's probably a lot of evidence that Isiah might really be doing it.

I still think that the KMart rumours are true, if for no other reason this huge trade has taken on an infinate amount of variables in som many different reports...I think SOMETHING is being worked on and worked on hard, and from my own perspective, Den, NY, and Orlando are the driving forces behind it.

First off, Francis is 28 (will be 29 in a couple of weeks.)

Second- Joe, I know you're just trying to make a point, but please, Craw isn't in Francis' league as a player. I don't need numbers to justify that. But if you must, Francis is a career 20-6-6. Not many backcourt players in the history of this league have numbers to match that.

We all know Francis isn't happy with his situation thats why the numbers are down, but when he wants to turn it on (last 5 gms he's averaging nearly 26 pts per)

As far as Denver is concerned, I don't see them giving up Kmart, Watson and Nene for Francis. Thats too much. Francis is actually 6'3 (just an inch shorter than Wade) and he's strong. He can play the 2, especially in a George Karl offense.

I'd rather tak the Portland deal if Miles in included than take a risk on Kmart.

Bro, I already said Francis is a better player no need to preach to the choir, BUT you are right about me trying to make a point. Francis is not happy there hence not performing and as an example of this I pointed out his numbers are marginally better than Craw's who everyone here is so down on. I have no doubt that wherever he goes he is gonna cause a nuclear fall out with the size of the explosion he is gonna make, but in Orlando he isn't/won't/doesn't want to and it is hurting his value so Orlando will not get equal value.

IMO, we are trying to obtain BOTH Kmart (with Craw) and Miles (with Penny)....The risk factoer is about the same when you weight KMart's injuries against Miles unfullfilled potential.

I see what you're saying about Miles and Kmart. But, before going out of the lineup, Miles was averaging about 19 pts per. He's also 6'9 with a long wing span and would add good shotblocking and rebounding out of the SF position. We have Frye and Lee and would be getting Ratliff (don;t really want him but to get Miles yoou'd have to take him) who can more than make up for any rebounding and shotblocking that Kmart would add.

This team needs a legit SF. Get Miles and move Rose to the 2 for the rest of the year than he becomes an asset to be moved in the summer or the next year for a shooting guard.

sorry guys... if i happen to get excited over the prospects of getting proven allstar calibre players like KMart & Francis you'll have to excuse me...

it's just when i think about some of the scrubs that have played on this team in the past several seasons, i get acid reflux: Clarence Weatherspoon, Travis Knight, Felton Spencer, Howard Eisley, Shandon Anderson, Vin Baker, Moochie Norris, Jerome James, Jamison Brewer, Bruno Sundov, Cezary Trebanski, Slavko Vranes, Matt Barnes, Mark Pope, Jermaine Jackson, Lee Nailon... the list goes on & on.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

I worry we'd be too perimeter based with Franchise. I like his game. I don't know if he and Marbury could co-exist.

You talk about trading Marbury for Kmart and Watson and then getting Francis. That might make more sense.

I agree Miles would be best, because we have Frye and I would love to start Frye and play him as much as possible BUT we aren't even at the All-Star break of our first rebuilding year and look at what is going on. I don't think Frye will be TRULY ready to start for a year. I think if we started him from the beginning (or dangled a startig job for him instead of handing it to Davis) we would be better off. But that didn't happen and now it seems we are trying to be competitive while rebuilding (which can be done but it is hard), it's like being where Dallas is now but doing it over night, whereas it took Dallas years to get the right mix.

Like I said my dream scenario is getting both Miles and Kmart and giving Woods (who I LOVE)major time at the 2 while Rose swings between the 2 and the 3 and Miles plays soley the 3.

Its hard to imagine that the Knicks have always been over the cap even with a team full of the above mentioned scrubs.

WHERE HAVE YOU GONE MARK POPE?!
