Marv - High and mighty?

Okay, lets make a sport of knocking all leaders off their pedestals at every opportunity. That will certainly get the ratings up.

The crafting of Isiah's image as some incompetent, arrogant, abrasive, aloof and not-to-be-trused individual is curiously negative in light of that same media treatment of an arrogant, abrasive, aloof and tempermental as Bill Parcells.

Earl - I thought the topic was peoples' reactions to the charges made against Isiah by Anucha.

Marv - What kind of name is Anucha anyway?

Tha fact she made The Captain - Willis freakin' REED - the man responsible for the single most memorable moment in franchise history - wait thirty minutes for a meeting, is all I need to know.

She GOT's To go!

Now, where were we?

It's absolutely despicable to make your children available to the media in an attempt to put yourself in a more favorable light in the public's eye.

The kid is under 18 so you know the reporter had to have Isiah's permission in order to interview him. That's just disgusting to involve your kid like that.

I'm not saying anything one way or the other about his innocence or guilt but that seems like the move of a desperate man.

Please before you make anymore statements like that. There is no such law or restriction for children under the age of giving or granting interviews. Investigative reporters don't use much of any restrictions, other than priting or saying what they quoted from a source. Read a paper, watch the news, children give interviews, and quotes on a daily basis. You think when a news reporter is reporting from a site, that he/she gets the child's parent blessing too. You wouldn't ever be to report anything live. LOL. It is called the 2nd admendment for a reason. The goal is to avoid liable.

I didn't mean that there was a law or restriction. I meant that the reporter probably didn't call the Thomas house and ask for his kid. The point being that the kid wasn't talking to the media about this matter without the knowledge and consent of his father.
If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

Josh has poise, sound like a real pro. Just like his daddy!

When a child lies does he cry? He cries when he gets caught!

Marv, I did think that article was weird as all hell! And I had to laugh. Kinda was like a Barbara Walters special with the Thomas family! Mrs Thomas laughed? Ha ha, That **** happens in my house and became public my wife would get me with the shoe! No women wants to be humiliated in public! Enough she got to live with his sweet manners!

Here is how it goes down, they gonna settle this but Isiah gotta lay some PR work first so he can come out ok.

My take is there is a lot of truth being told by both sides. She was a bully, Isiah made lots of bad remarks in front of people, as did Marbs, and there was hostility. The harassment thing we might never know, cuz it ain't going to trail.

Isiah has fallen enough times and still gets up.

Quite frankly, I don't care about him one bit and never thought much of him. But, so long as he is deputy dog of this team I root for him to succeed as I did all of our GM's before him! We ain't talking about Dave Debussusre or any the Knick gods.

As far as Making Willis Wait, lets be real, maybe he was early and she was tied up (not by Isiah of course!) with something unexpected. Lets not jump too much on all this gossip stuff.

Brain scans are becoming increasingly reliable as a replacement for polygraphs. I think it will be a handful of years yet before they are used in situations like these.

wow, for real? Never even heard of such a thing.

Yeah. It hasn't been widely known until recently. It's gaining a lot more attention now that it's nearing full viability. Even saw a news piece on Google News about it just a day or two ago.

wait, is that the same Google News that is bending over backwards for the gov't?

Heh. Actually Google has been uncooperative with the US gov, while cooperating with China on a censored version of their search engine. Yahoo and MSN cooperated with both govmn'ts.

how timely:
