james dolan had to reduce his charitable donations by $25 million dollars because of the increase in knicks payroll this year.

he usually donates somewhere in the vicinity of $40 mil but could only donate around $15-17 due to the big deals we took back.

those charities include SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome), MADD (mothers against drunk driving), and TheTruth.Com (against smoking).

so the knicks payroll is now killing infants in bed, in cars, and over the long haul by choking them to death.

For as long as we're on that topic, it's a fact that Dolan has cut down on MSG security, severely. I hardly ever see any ushers in the arena, besides on the floor level. In fact, they don't even have any metal detectors or pat people down. Just a little fact, since dj reminded me of that.

dj told me that Dolan donated their salaries to Exxon.

Why is salary cap the issue? Dolan is not rich. He is wealthy......he is an American king for christsakes. There are people that probably steal 32 million off cablevisions books every year that dolan will never know about. So stop talking about that.

As far as the team the knicks must make a choice: either reload some vets that can play now and help the team or shut it down and trade all the vets to try to get under the cap

Note that either scenerio allows the development of youth. If the knicks get the vets the rookies are still the future its just they have to now out play the vets to earn the time except the vets are actually better than the rookies not just Larry brown pets like Davis, and malik.

Cutting cap would just have the rookies playing with the hopes they pan out and top free agents will want to play in ny.

As far as that all goes something has got to give and it has to happen now.
