One man's opinion...like it or not, Bibby is far more valuable to that team than Peja...anyone who doesn't see that, doesn't know basketball...
I knew you would get to the lowest common denominator eventually.
You can't make your point with facts so you attempt an insult.
Weak.

Dude, I'm not trying to insult anyone...I just think it's plain to see that Bibby has really come into his own. He has been improving since I began following his career in college, and now he is a top PG in this league...probably number 7 behind payton, davis, miller, kidd, francis, and marbury...maybe 8 if you stick nash in front of him (which I wouldnt do). Any top PG is more valuable than a shooting guard. My point is there are a plethora of quality SG's who can do what Peja can do, and a handful of SG who can do it better (Kobe, McGrady, Hamilton, Allen, Rose, Peirce...etc). I bet Spree could do what Peja could do if he had the Kings team around him and was allowed to play his natural 2 position...not too many point guards can do it like Bibby can...if you can't see that, than your not seeing 20/20 my friend...I'm done with this argument, Bibby is the more valued commodity, deal with the fact that your wrong...

The two toughest positions to find good players at in the NBA are point guard and center. That is why Bibby is more valuable then Peja. However, there is no way you can say Bibby is more talented then Peja, just look at the numbers.

Bibby - More Valuable
Peja - More Talented

Good point Smooth, I shouldn't have argued with the numbers, but my point remains, Bibby is less likely to be traded than Peja...

Wrong, I've seen many point guards have great seasons and disapear from the face of the earth. Bibby didn't even have that. He had a great series, and I've seen him play alot (I have "league pass", 40 NBA games per week, yada, yada, yada,). Let's at least see if you can do it for a full season before we put him in the class of great PG's.

You have to understand my position. Not agree with, but understand my positon. I have been watching this guy for years now, and he has never regressed, so what is to say that he will next season in the prime of his NBA career? You're right, I can't see the future, but I'd bet a lot of money on the fact that he will if not improve, maintain his high level of play...

Did you even see him play in the NCAA? Bibby performed extremely well in clutch situations which is why he got drafted so high in the lottery. He always played well but stepped up when needed (and how he helped his team to the championship), which was evident AGAIN during the playoffs. It's not a one time thing, it's his repertoire so yes, Bibby is up there in prime PG's with the possibility to become a great one.

Yeah, yeah, I saw him play in college. We could fill this entire forum with the countless NCAA players who disapeared into the vapor when they got to the next level. Bibby was well on his way there until the playoffs. I repeat. He had 3 OK years in Vancouver. (Look at the nnumbers thewy aren't becoming of a great PG). Then he has a decent season for the Kings. Then he had a great playoffs. My orginal point still stands: Lets see if he can do it long term before we put him in class with Peja (who's done it for 3 years).
