^ blame Isiah. We all knew what to expect with Big Fat Ass.

oh really, you knew he wasnt going to try to get into shape prior to the season?

Hasn't been in shape his entire underachieving career, who didn't know that he wasn't going to try to get into shape prior to the season, I mean besides Isiah.

How much is it costing the Knicks including the luxury tax? $60MM? Nice work Isiah. "Uhhh, well we needed a center." Like that's an excuse for giving the Big Stiff that big of a contract.

well if this leads to JJ's contract becoming null&void its all good by me.

It's still a wasted MLE signing when we could have had a nice role player like Gerald Wallace or Samuel Dalembert. It's not gonna kill the franchise. If Isiah seeks Larry's input on future signings and trades (and he'd be stupid not to), we probably won't see a valuable asset like the MLE used on a player like JJ. Isiah's probably smart enough to have learned on his own from this mistake anyway. I do wish we had used the MLE on Gerald Wallace, though. He's giving 4 blocks + steals per game and is good scorer, rebounder, and defender at SF.

Dalembert was NEVER an option. and no other team wanted to give Wallace MLE money prior to the season. its easy to say that now.

No one wanted to give Wallace the MLE cause they thought his current team would match and that he also really wanted to stay.

I meant Hunter, not Dalembert. Sorry.

I didn't realize Wallace was a RESTRICTED FA. Now I don't feel so bad about Isiah not signing him.
