i forget the specifics of the deal with czar, but the paper was more right than wrong, czar was led to believe he was the next coach and marv's public criticisms of the putrid handling of the chaney/czar/wilkens situation went a long way toward getting him fired. marv and czar being close friends.

im not screaming fire isiah

but i think that he would be smart to admit to mistakes and NOt use the word rebuild because every time he does, he will be crucified for trading an unprotecetd pick. he can say it was his judgement call in a retooling process where he weighed risk reward

that being said, with all bullets shot, i dont know what he can do to get us out of it.

all the draft bullets are shot, but he still has some expiring deals left to shuffle. he's not as good with trades as with drafts, but he's got a shot to retool the team completely... I just don't know if I trust him to make the right trades...

Meanwhile Larry is trying to force players who aren't well suited for his system to continue to play it instead of implementing an offense that fits their skills, thereby making Isiah look worse.

How does Isiah get credit for players he didn't draft or trade for? Pacers GM was and is Walsh. He drafted and made the deals. He drafted Tinsley,Harrington and traded for O'Neal. Unless i'm wrong. Isiah shouldn't get credit for stuff he didn't do.

Yes you are wrong !! He developed those players, drafted some and found the others where nobody was looking !! That in a nutshell is the reason why he deserves credit !!
Isiah Thomas will lead us back to the playoffs in 2006 !!!
