I love this thread. I love when the Steph haters go too far and force even the steph-dislikers to put them in check.

First its start Nate and bring Steph off the bench, then its Ridenhour is better than Steph. This thread was really really amusing. Thanx McK1. And, sorry about your girlfriend.

Dawgz, it is honestly the only way I can rationalize your hatred of Steph. There really is no other plausible explanation for it. I mean how do you hate a player that much without there having been some kind of personal slight involved? I don't get it. I could see if he sucked or something, but damn, he plays super hard, tries his best to help us win, does everything LB asks of him and you WONT give the guy a break. I really don't get it. It has nothing to do with a personal gripe. Some guys and teams in sports just rub wrong. For me Marbury is 1 of them.

but believing Ridnour to be the better point has nothing to do with the hate.

I wonder how much qyntel woods will be able contribute, oh well I guess well find out tonight. although knowing larry, hell probably put woods in the game, and then when he scores two consecutive baskets yank him out for the rest of the season. speaking of hatreds, I think Im starting to hate brown

without q, we are severely undermanned in the backcourt. nate is gonna get some major minutes tonight.

on a side note, it would be GREAT if marbury steps aside for the start tonight to let nate and craw start it up. lb is doing the hometown thing but he can not start steph, nate, AND craw together. it would be a good sign of leadership from steph.

btw, the orlando magic are 7-10. they did play 9 homes games, 3 more than us but DAMN MAN, are we not better than the orlando magic? seeing that is just disgusting.

I love ridnour. I think he has amazing potential to be a great fast break PG ala Nash. I would love for him to be PG for us. And from what I've seen, he has the potential to be a great defender as well.

But as of now, he's not better than Steph nor does he have even come close to having the same impact (positive) on his team.

If you really hate Steph as much as you say you do, then I feel sorry for you. It must suck for you to be a Knicks fan.

Larry Brown = the ball eventually being taken out of Steph's hands and a team philosophy emerging so there is still reason to watch

is this a must win?

two losses in a row, now 5-11. with two more road games at the clippers and at pheonix where we're guaranteed to lose at least one of them (probably both). do we want to come back from this trip 5-14? and if you look at the rest of the year, we have some tough home games coming up.

so again i ask, is this a must win or will a loss today take us back even further?

The immediate goal of the team is not winning anymore, LB even advised people not to look at the record--the goal is to find who's going to be the future of this team and who needs to go. If you want to win right now you don't bring in Qyntel Woods.

every other player has started in their home city. even mo in detroit. ariza in la la land. so i'm going by what lb is doing. he's gonna want to start nate and craw. i don't think he's gonna go 3 guards tho, especially with q not around. i'm just saying that it would be a nice gesture if steph goes to lb and be like, "if you want to start nate and craw tonight" then go ahead - even if it's for like 2 mins.

you know my starting lineup everynight:

steph, craw, rose/arize, frye, curry - end of story.

since Lewis has the height advantage over whoever guards him anyway, why not start with the 3 guard line-up. At least we would be able to match p with Seattle speed-wise. Keeping Evans Collison and Lewis off the boards is a whole nother matter.

I think Larry Brown pretty much has his mind set on making Crawfish come off the bench with either Nate or Q starting, and I don't mean Quintel. But tonight, I wouldn't be surprised at all if Nate was the starting pg and played for like the first 5 minutes then lets Marbury sub for him. That would be cool of Marb to accept that. I think the real issue, however, is getting Curry healthy and finally getting that starting frontcourt rotation to be Frye and Curry. When that f' is that ihst going to happen?

Steph- NY's prodigal son will never miss a start
Nate- Hometown hero
Jamal- Hometown hero's best friend
Qyntel- If Malik can play sf than why not plus he played near seattle
Big Game- Seattle's best center since Sam Perkins
