He made his teammates better, he had room to talk. I heard Toni Kukoc say recently that the Bulls players weren't afraid to criticize each other--winning was everything and if somebody didn't do something right--they heard about it right away.

It looks like this can be the beginning of Stephon finally honing his all-around game. He'll eventually settle into the system and produce more points and assists in the process. Watch those leadership skills continue to develop as well- a big difference from the Pre-Larry Stephon.

The way he's been going after boards, Steph's looking for some triple-doubles this year.

2 themes of this thread concerning Steph and Nate, are things I have been saying for a very long time now and was heavily criticized for.


Please make a note of it.

I'm a LOOOONG time Steph defender and I feel somewhat vindicated by the way he's been playing. Even when we lost you could see Steph was making an effort to try and adapt to the new system. Overall tho LB has done a great job of selling his concepts to the whole team, cuz as others have pointed out, It won't matter that Steph is doing what LB asks if his teammates don't deliver. JC has to hit shots, Curry has to be a force inside, Frye has to hit and defend etc. But its LB's system that is allowing everyone to stay involved mentally in the game and no one gets cold, cuz they all take shots in this offense and with everyone defending we're becoming one of the better defensive teams in the league. Steph deserves some respect for the effort he's been putting in, rather than the BS that some of the FAKE ASS Knicks fans around here keep posting.
