Little Boy Bonn, the quotes below are all the posts I made....
"NY fans sure do overrate their own players."
"First off, Chicago pre draft camp workouts are extremely overrated. So many guys like Troy Bell have done great in it and have also had the highest rating in athleticism, but have turned to be nothing. But secondly, I agree with you, but just b/c Salmon hasn't done anything yet doesn't mean he wont. He could break out. Not sure if he will or wont. But you can't just make Lee completely untradable yet. He's a real good player, but you still gotto keep options open. I get the impression that some people think he's a real superstar on the rise, but he prolly isn't."
"Why do you say it's easier to pick up a Salmon. He can shoot and we need shooters and it seems like there are less and less shooters around."

"Ohh sheesh, when on Earth did I say Salmons was great? In fact, I don't even know a lot about Salmons but based on that game, and on what Briggs has said, he could fill some needs, and we are also pretty set, for now, with our frontcourt, and it wouldn't KILL US if we traded Lee to get him. The other bigs can easily pick all that up. Besides, Frye, Butler and Curry are all better on offense anyway. Don't get me wrong, I love David Lee and all and think he's been real solid. How could anyone not? But it DEFINITELY seems that NY fans are overrating him a bit and maybe even underrating Channing Frye, who I felt has been equally as solid in the games I've seen. We need shooters on this team to spread that offense. Channing will help with that, but we need a guard out on the perimeter besides Q and Marbury who both aren't superb shooters."
"NO, and I am not even saying that Salmons is the guy. But if there was a solid young shooter out there who shows other skills, would you trade Lee straight up for him?"
"Give me Josh Howard any day. Please."
"Ohh wait one second. If you can do me a favor and search this thread and say I WOULD LOVE to get him I would appreciate it. Can't find it? That's b/c I never said it! I said he could fill needs and that if we lose Lee other guys can pick up and he can have a nice role. But if you can find anywhere in this thread before this post that says "Allan fan loves Salmons" then well..."
NOT ONCE did I say anything remotely close to saying "I WANT SALMON" or "I LOVE SALMON" figuratively or literally. I DID say that trading Lee for a guy like Salmon shouldn't be out of the question b/c we need shooters. So Little Boy Bonn (B/c I'm sure that's what you really are) next time you try to play the role of Psychologist, get your facts straight.
We all know perfectly well that Knick fans are fickle. We know perfectly well that when a Knick plays awesome he's a star in the making and when he has a bad 2 or 3 game stretch, he sucks. That's how a lot of you guys look at it. I am sorry but it's the truth with a lot of Knick fans and I just happened to point out an example of how it's true. Yes, I said trading Lee for Salmons might be a good idea based on the info Briggs gave me. Shoot me. But I bet MOST of you never saw Lee anymore than me before the Summer league games.
But I backed up my statement b/c I KNOW the team needs shooters. We have none besides Q who never even had a good FG%. Then I said guys on our team can replace the intensity that Lee brings (Which again, I said I DID love) b/c aggresiveness is something anyone can have. As much as I love having Lee on this team, losing him for a player that fills another need wouldn't be the end of the world.
